i've always said this is the blueprint to defeat FM, and a blueprint i believe JMM will try to employ against him, though i believe miguel cotto will be the first to defeat FM.

I thought that Castillo clearly won the fight, and Floyd got a gift.

What does being the champ have to do with anything? I don't disagree that Castillo won the fight but it litrally gives me goose bumps and makes me light headed with anger when someone insinuates that teh champ deserves and special consideration whatsoever. he doesn't deserve ****, nothing, nada, less than ****. If **** could take a **** and that **** had maggots on it and those maggots took a ****, that would still be too much consideration. Both guys go into the fight equal. Who the champ is doesn't matter.

Love that argument. Guess we can always use that arugment. I am sure that you agree that Chavez vs Whitikar was a draw and that DLH beat sturm and that RJJ lost in the gold medal round at the olympics afterall those are the official results.

Mayweather won 115-113 on my card. Beat him in a rematch. He was the better man.

Castillo won 7 rounds to 5 on my card. Floyd started well, then castillo started cutting the ring off better and better as the fight wore on, landing alot of telling body shots. Floyd looked genuinely scared at times, as if he knew he was in deep ****. There is no way in my mind and the majority of other fans that Floyd won the first fight. I remember the commentators all saying "thats not the same fight we saw" after the decision. It was a robbery, but not an awful one. I had Floyd winning the 2nd fight close but clearly though.

The champ deserves an extra bonus in close rounds especially when the CHAMP is the AGRESSOR.

There is an unwritten law in boxing that the challenger must do a litle more than the champ because he wants to take the title away from the champ. Did PBF take the title away from the Castillo that night? No, he kept running. He tried to do it in the 11th but got outhustled.

Again what does being the champ have to do with anything? Are you saying that you score championship fights differently than otehr fights? Are you saying that the criteria for winning against a champion should be stricter than for winning against a non champion?

You score the fight exactly how you would score a fight between 2 bums fighting for a $500 purse, no guy gets any special consideration. having a title doesn't entitle you to ****.

I am big fan of both fighters, and have watched about 13-14 of Floyd's fights, and that was the only fight I thought that Floyd lost. Supposedly he (PBF) had some kind of injury, but basically he started off good and then was outmustled, outhustled, and outworked down the stretch. I though it was a bad decision, I think Floyd knew he might have lost or possibly was too close to call, that why he gave JLC a rematch Floyd has never given anyone else a rematch. He evened turned down(in the end) $15-$20 mill to give DLH a rematch.

It is an unwritten law because it is wrong. When you score a championship fight, you should treat it like any other fight. If you need to rely on a belt to tell you which way to score a close round then you should not be scoring fights.

If you listen to the commentary by his corner they told him he could not lose the last few rounds. I know that PBF lost and was overwhelmed by an at best 2 dimensional fighter. Bladerunner you are dead on...the decision was a robbery.

JLC lost that fight in the early rounds in which he did nothing.:deal It was a close fight that could have gone either way by no means a robbery. Alot of people here have no idea as to what a robbery is. A robbery is a fight that is so one-sided that there's no debate as to who won the fight. PBF-JLC is no robbery because there's a debate here and both fighter's have a case. With that said PBF did the right thing and offered a immediate rematch and beat him again.
