We cant have a debate because you wont allow it. Pretty much the entire broadcasting team for HBO agrees with me. I think you are too insecure to engage in a real debate.
I'm not insecure. The fact is people, like you don't know the difference between a close fight that could go either way and a robbery. A close fight is Cotto-Clottey or Cotto-Mosley a robbery is Pea-Chavez or Santa Cruz-Casa It's really not that difficult of a concept to understand really.
I don't agree. There is a difference between a close fight that could have gone either way and a fight that is close but clear. A close fight can still result in a robbery. Suppose you have a fight in which the fighters trade rounds but there is a clear winner in every round and one guy clearly deserves 7-5. If you score that fight 6-6 or 7-5 for his opponent you are robbing him IMO, even if the fight was close. Now when you have a fight in which there is a lot of individual rounds that could have gone either way, then you can call it a close fight that could have gone either way.
cause many people think that the contender should try and "take" the title from the champ...doing extra and working really hard in each round....
I know that but those people are wong. A win is a win. The criteria for scoring a fight should not be different from one situation to another. Again I do agree that Castillo won the fight but I don't think that being the champ has **** to do with it.
Castillo won 8-9 rounds of the fight. Beyond the fourth round PBF did nothing to merit beating the Castillo the title holder.
Come on man! No way in hell did JLC win 8 or 9 rounds of that fight so you mean to tell me that PBF only won 3 or 4 rounds? PBF arguably won the first 5 rounds of that fight man.atsch:-(
I disagree. Those types of fights can still lead to people saying the other guy won those rounds based on what they like aggression or defense and countering. Like I said before a robbery is when no case can be made for one guy wining like Pea-JCC. PBF-JLC 1 a case can be made for either guy.
are you puercto rican?..tito didnt win that fight..and de la hoya made a huge mistake a dumbass mistake of running the last rounds..first 9-10 rounds when de la hoya was fighting it was a boxing clinic..that fight is just a sour taste in any boxing fans mouth was suppose 2 be a classic..atsch
I had Floyd winning this fight. The biggest misconception in this fight is that Castillo landed the harder punches, I actually thought Floyd landed the more cleaner, crisper, harder punches which is why I gave Floyd round 5 which was a toss up round. No robbery, it could have gone either way or even a draw.
Nothing but irrational ******ed clowns caught up in the moment of actually seeing a competitive fight. Close fight. Floyd won. Shut the **** up.
