Yeah, I was pulling for Rampage, but I can see why they gave it to Forrest. I'd like to see them fight again, and Forrest is going to get laid out shortly into his title reign.
I agree that decision absolutely stinks of robbery, at best for Griffin it was a draw, i don't know how the hell they decided that he won that fight, now Silva is in that division i pray to god he get's hold of Griffin, Griffin would get his lucky ass firmly kicked.
The days of having to take the title just don't exist anymore in anything I guess. Imposible to get those scores I could live with a split decision, but other than that I thought forest only won 1 or 2 rounds.
Come on bro, you can't be serious. I saw the fight, Rampage was hoping for hayemakers all night, Griffin MADE the fight, he was more active, pushing as hard as he could..etc Rampage was on the defensive most of the fight looking for counters while Griffin kept pushing and pushing till the very end. That last round Rampage hardly did anything, Griffin was working it better in my opinion and deserved the fight. Rampage came expecting an early finish, he didn't get it and faded.
Griffin clearly won. WTF did Jackson do besides land one good punch in the first, even then he lost all the rest of the round but stole it with one punch. Griffin controlled the fight the entire time with leg kicks, and Jackson wasn't doing anything effectiive. WTF did he do? Nothing. Sure he lost. Jackson's corner knew he lost and told him, Jackson said he lost in the post fight interview, so STFU.
How, he was able to take his best shots time and time again. Forrest is much well rounded fighter, hell he could KO him just on little legs kicks!:bbb
Close fight but I thought Rampage did more damage and won rounds 1,3 and maybe 5. Cant be too bitter as Forrest is one of my other favs, but a draw would have been right decision
