My son and I watched it without sound because he was afraid of 'spoilers' for the tv series which we aren't done with yet. He had it a 1 point decisionf for the Griffin based on a 10-8 second round. Jackson just got outworked.
As we were watching my son noticed Jackson was pretty upright and back. He wondered if it was to protect against knees. Jackson has had problems in that area before. Like WS putting him through the ropes in Pride with one.
There are plenty of great potential match ups, too many to discuss at Lt Heavyweight. But then again who says there wont be a rematch any time soon. Opinion seems to be devided as too who won, so there must be a rematch imo
:nod Griffin had a 10-8 round 2. The other rounds were close, but Griffin controlled the tempo and landed more (even though they weren't as devestating as Rampage).
If I remember correctly, Rampage landed some hard shots. Never really putting Griffin in trouble though. Rampage was trying to get into an exchange that would end with forrest on his back. It didn't happen. Rampage was searching for the big shot that never came. Those complaining about the dicision must be new mma fans and and only scoring effective punching.. leg kicks, takedowns, reversals, etc etc all go on the score card. Welcome to MMA
