I was thinking the same thing. Where's the outrage? Why isn't Margorito rushing to fight Williams again? OR Clottey?

Its just a ploy by HBO to lure PBF out of retirement to fight Margarito --

Isn't that kind of expected when you throw the network that gave you the spotlight under the bus?

They didn't abandon PBF ... they're trying to lure him out of retirement.

The reason they have turned on the little ***** is because they paved the way to get him where he is and instead of living up to his expectations he retired like a *****.
Bottom line is HBO has the right, and honestly you cant say for sure Floyd will even beat Margarito much less get a WIDE UD over the man, the boy is scared to fight him, as Margarito said last night Floyd Mayweather is scared to fight me!!! that was not translated on the telecast but that is exactly what margarito said.
Bottom line is Floyd is in a safe place now, let him stay there, if he comes back all of you Floyd fans will get ****ing OWNED!!!! Margarito will put a much worse beating on Floyd than he did Cotto.
Floyd might look good the first four or five rounds after that its over, infact Cotto IMO not only had more power to get the respect of Margarito he also had a higher work rate, which when you combine the two it was enough to keep Tony from walking through him Tony had to work.
Floyd doesnt have the same power as Cotto nor does he have the same work rate, meaning I Dont see any way for Floyd to win should he ever fight Margarito.

And Russ Greenberg diplomatically disagreed, leaving the door wide open for whenever Mayweather wants to return.

HBO doesn't care about the fighters. Or the fans or even boxing.

They only care about making money. Period.

That was the point of Kellerman's diatribe - bait PBF into coming out of "retirement" to fight Margarito. I for one never took PBF's retirement seriously - he's just taking an extended vacation. Come early 2009 PBF will fight the winner of DLH - Margarito. PBF beats either opponent.

:good I love how people can say Floyd "turned his back on HBO", **** that! He made them a lot of money and he can retire if he wants. People act as if HBO is some mom and pop store, they are a massive corporation built on satifying their bottom line. They don't give a **** about fighters who are not named De La Hoya, why??????...... because that name brings the $$$$$ big time, win or lose, that's why they still ride his sweaty nutsac to this day NO MATTER WHAT HE DOES, while dropping fighters at the snap of a finger who lose, ala.. Vernon Forrest when he lost to mayorga.
