It's an excellent fight to be made. Two very contrasting fighters with a built in storyline for HBO to use. Margarito would be Mayweather's toughest cahllenge to date. If Mayweather lost the fire, then he should stay a spectator. If he thinks he can win, he should make the fight to solidify his legacy and leave the way he thinks he did.

1 Floyd condition is better then , cotto by far.. Floyd's conditioning is pretty much legendary just as his gym work out are .. So don't look for him to be sucking for life after round seven like Cotto did.

2 floyd is more durable then cotto.. if you need proof then look at the zab fight .. Floyd walked Zab down and use just enough punches to punish Zab with out taking punishment in return.
Cotto on the other hand took some to get some and his face was cut up for it .


3 Floyd doesn't need the same power as cotto to get margarito respect , floyd has better foot work and punch placement ..
Cotto on the other hand was moving and throwing hard shot out of desperation and loading up on every shot , instead just keeping his hand moving and throwing hard shot when he needed too..

4 . under estimation is floyd biggest weapon
So many of you fool pay too much attention to floyd foot work to realize that he has under estimated upper and lower body strength which he uses for his defense more then offense ,, Floyd is strong enough to bang with Margarito just long enough to tie him up on the inside..

You guys claim to be boxing fans which is a joke .. The strongest , fastest , the bigger or even the fighter that throws the most punches is not a sure winner .. Thats what make the sport of boxing, a smart fighter can turn any fighter's physical gift and attribute against him.

Floyd has a excellent boxing mind and he is very Relaxed in the ring any one that keep over looking this is a fool, because staying cool under fire is what separate Floyd from cotto .. which is why it took Arum 5 years and 7 pounds to even mention cotto as potential opponent for floyd .

Floyd has a more fluid transition from defense to offense then cotto, and where cotto uses brute strength to subdue, floyd uses timing and skill ..
they're as difrent as fred flintstone and george jettson , one use a club and brute strength to subdue his opponent the other uses a laser and a multi tasking brain .

shane , zab, Urkal , and quintana , you guys act as thought Cotto faced really deep comp at 147..
Floyd was moving up from 135 when he asked for Cotto , and nether hotton or cotto wanted any part of the smaller Floyd at 140..

It funny how everyone forgets , that not too long ago it was Floyd who was the spoiler that none of the up and comer and big names wanted any part of.
