    Sorry to admit, this sums it up for me too. Joe proved to be a whole level above Kessler in there.

    I totally disagree.

    What boxers could have adapted to Calzaghe's style ? He's completely different every round.

    Calzaghe is honestly in talking H2H, one of the best of ALL TIME.

    I can only think of 3 or 4 fighters off top of head who would beat a prime calzaghe from 160-175.

    Calzaghe was a whole level above Kessler, but thats cuz Calzaghe is once in every 10years.

    Uhhm....OK. We agree Calzaghe was a whole level above Kessler? yes.
    Calzaghe=Great fighter.........Kessler= Damn Good fighter.

    BTW, please don't think my assessment is to discredit Joe's owning of Kessler. I was disappointed Kessler quit with his uppercut that was working for him and to me after the 4th Joe completely had control. I'm sold easily that Joe C. is one of the greatest fighters I've ever seen, ever.

    This is what boxing is all about!! Besides the Joe and Kessler huggers, the fight predictions on ESB were as even as I've seen. This was truely a pick em' fight going in. I won a little v-cash on this but I placed my bet without a lot of confidence, mainly thought Joe would adapt + I wanted him to win.

    With the exception of haters and Devil's Advocate losers, Post fight comments have been fair and again, reflect that it was about as evenly matched as one can be.

    Kessler is a GREAT fighter, Calzaghe is an ATG. Yes, I said it ATG. Joe's gift, like an ATG great quarterback in the NFL, is his abiliy to adjust automatically, to an imposing force and tame it, almost magically.

    Maybe it's the name Joe: Joe Namath, Joe Montana, Joe C.

    nice striate Punch's .and he got hart he going to have a bright future. its funny cuz you would think i would become a Calzaghe fan but i became a kessler fan. the guy can fight he just needs to get back to the gym and keep working hard and bounce back and do his thing. good fight last night.

    I questioned Kessler's heart before the fight. I thought he would completely wilt after being outboxed. I was sure that Joe was going to win a lot more comfortably than he did. Kessler proved me wrong.

    The fight was a lot closer in reality than the scorecards suggest. In comparison, it was like a football team being 1-0 down and throwing everyone forward to get the equalizer but conceding another. Joe was just than little bit quicker and smarter on the night. Certainly not by much though.

    I could see before the fight that Mikkel did everything well but last night he proved his heart is huge, never gave up and can move on to big things after this.
