were talking ppv numbers in this thread...recently it was a topic of debate about canelo/smith numbers...and golovkins fans swore it was a failure...if that is true then pac/vargas was a colossal failure....id like to see those same people make a thread about vargas/pac being a huge failure....but u know what? they wont...because ggg/pac fans are one in the same....they are easy to spot

i didnt make the thread...i responded to it...and drew a comparison....

but of course you guys dont like it when it sheds a negative light on golovkin or the opinion of his fellow fans

1984 3.2 Targa, its in great shape I have had it for 10 years. Bought it for $17,500, 92k miles and now at 140k, engine has never been opened up. I take it to the track some but only for charity events (no helmets, tech inspections, nothing crazy just stretch the legs). Would like to attach a pic but how do you do that?

I never talked about Canelo / Smith ppv numbers. I'm not particularly interested in ppv numbers, I mean, GGG - Canelo would do far more than Ward - Kovalev even though Ward - Kovalev is the better fight. Wouldn't you agree?

 

yup i would agree.....but that wasnt the point

point was golovkin fans suggested many times that canelo/smith bombed...despite doing 300k.....even though canelos guarantee is way less than pac and smith likely made much less than vargas.....so what would they call vargas/pac?...but i dont see those same guys making threads about pac/vargas being a huge flop

because they need to paint canelo/smith as a flop, even though it wasnt, so they can defend golovkins honor

 

My Turbo is fast but I actually enjoy driving my '87 MR2 more. I've had the Turbo for 14 years and only have 28,000 miles on it. It's just like new. lol I drive the MR 2 every chance I get.

 

Nice! Yeah my first car was a '73 MGB, so I was reared on the old school sports car experience. Even 1984 is really on the modern side for me, but since the 911 was largely unchanged the first 20 years (relatively speaking) it feels like an older car.

Can't beat triple digit speeds in a tiny cockpit, 120 feels like 150

 

I agree mostly. Canelo / Smith did roughly what I expected, obviously Smith is a no-name so it wasn't going to do that well.

I was just looking for a thread that wasn't endless battles about GGG/Canelo or Ward/Kovalev (look at the front page at the moment for a host of troll/argumentative threads: Andre ward is the favorite to beat Kovalev Ward gonna do the stanky leg when KRUSHER KOVALEV catches him what will k2/sanchez/golovkins excuse be when ward wins? Even if Ward wins, GGG is waiting for him. Sergey Kovalev will put Ward back into retirement Let's face it, GGG vs Brook was a much bigger event than Kovalev vs Ward will be! Kovalev ask for Rematch Clause. I guess he is not as confident as his supporters!!! Would Canelo be labeled as a 'bum' if GGG T/K.O him ? Ward will run and headbutt.)

And, despite the more promising title, this too had descended into GGG / Canelo. Hence my annoyance.

 

You got it! I do 110 in the MR 2 and it's a heart-pounding experience. I do 140 in the Turbo and can take my hands off the steering wheel.
