Sparring means f*ck all. Don't put your hopes in sparring stories, you should know that by now.

The more I think about it, the more I really wonder if Khan can survive 12. I've looked closer at the Kotelnik and Barrera fights to see he's still been wobbled in those fights, even if they were very minute, but it only takes one shot for Maidana to finish him.

    Hrm.

Thing is if your getting wobbled in sparring that is worrying lads. I mean the gloves are bigger, there not fight gloves and also you have head guard on. In saying that we hear all these stories time and time again...so it's once bitten twice shy.

If Khan gets slumped in the December then i be a believer. Also if this was around the ***an fight that means Khan hadn't developed the Brock Lesnar defense of covering face with arms and closing eyes and running from opponent.

Then in that case Lamont Peterson is the best fighter in the world, since he 'dominated' Floyd Mayweather in sparring, I could go on and on with great fighters that were supposedly stopped or dominated in sparring sessions by guys who in reality were not fit to carry their jockstraps.

I see where this is heading though, it's probabily because Dean is Irish and now according to your logic, this tells us how great he is.

While Dean isnt a huge puncher his ko% is decieving. When he was in Australia he only had one ko. Since going to the states and training with Roach he has 5 ko in 7 fights against what are probably better fighters. I wouldnt read too much into it either way

Ali use to get beat up in sparring all the time, that was a clear indication of his level. :good
