wow if a kid with a below 50% KO ratio had khan hurt in sparring then he's ****ed.

What makes me think Khan's career won't ever grow beyond it's current level isn't to do with his chin. It's more that he just isn't that good of a fighter, he just has very fast hands. Without the speed we'd of never known who Amir Khan was

This Madiana or however you spell his name, sounds like a ****** boxer.

anyone as chinny as Khan (getting knocked down several times by very light hitting lightweights, including Willie Limmond) will always be chinny, and when its someone heavier hits him flush, theres a better chance of him getting KO'd. Maidana is the first decent puncher Khan has faced since his humiliating 54 second KO against Prescott...Ive seen no evidence that his punch resistance has improved...have you?

Everybody knew his chin was suspect ages ago.

In the quote "Can Maidana take Khan's pressure and power?"

I think he can, as somebody said i don't think Khan would KO Maidana, a ref stoppage is more likely. Fair enough Maidana was down 3 time's against Ortiz, they were big shot's but Maidana took them well, they looked like flask knock down's, he was'nt hurt by any of them, where as if Ortiz had of hit Khan with one of those, he'd of been doing the chicken dance back to his hotel room

Anyone who knows anything about Khan knows he cannot take a punch. This is not news.

I knew his chin was suspect from his amateur days. But the Willie Limond fight showed how shockingly bad he is at taking a punch.

Limond has had 36 fight now, won 33, scored only 8 stoppages. He's certified feather-fisted. He had Khan down and in all sorts of trouble.

We dont really need to discuss Khan's chin any more. He cannot take a punch. But he can do a lot of other stuff. If he gets tagged clean by a puncher he will be knocked out, no doubt about that, just as Breidis Prescott showed. But if he beats a big puncher it will show how impressive he is in other areas.

Khan is a very good fighter, but a very chinny one too.

LOL. Shame that **** is banned. Yeah bet void then will remove from my sig now. I don't know. I put it in my sig ages ago for a free pack of skittles but when you get enough clicks you have to do loads of surveys so I deleted it and replaced it but its still there. :nut

How do we even know this is true? 'Sources'?

Bollocks until I see it on video I believe nothing of sparring rumours either way. Whether Khan was getting domainted, he was dominating, he got sparked, the other guy got sparked I don't care what is said when its behind closed doors its open to the truth being stretched.

Either you are deliberately missing my point or you are dumb, pointing out the exceptions that prove the rule isn't really a strong counter argument.

At least 8 times out of 10 the better fighter will get the better of a competitive sparring session.

You said "Sparring means f*ck all" - I was simple saying that is incorrect.

I am not saying that it is the be all and end all but its a pretty good indication and to say that it means "**** all" is plain and simple wrong.

As for your "I see where this is going" line, would you not shut the **** up you arsehole!

give it a ****ing rest you annoying Orange ****!

I never even mentioned Deano and the story is probably bull****, I have spoken to Deano about his spars with Pacman and Khan and he never said he dropped Khan to me.

It just that is a lazy cliche ot say that sparring meaning nothing - funny that, because in nearly every spar I have seen between two pros the "better" fighter came up on top.

I wonder if he's re-assessed his "Maidana looks pudgy" comment. Because here, Khan looks far softer than the Argentinean. I knew those 8 months of inactivity wouldn't have been good for him.

It will be seven months when the fight goes ahead, and he has just started him camp, a little soft and only 9 lbs over the weight limit hardly a big deal.

What's bad is both of these guys are obviously sucking in their guts for the pics.
There is a reason why they normally don't take topless pics 2 months before the fight.
