If sparring meant anything, Howard Eastman should be an ATG puncher on a Cuevas/Jackson/Foster level, I mean, floors Eubank badly and ends Steve Collins' career?!?! (Allegedly. And with bigger gloves?!? Madness.

Khans chin is shocking, of course he might get knocked around in sparring. It will help him in sticky moments though, and will make him self-aware.

The change in body shape will make him more stable IMO, but you can't improve his rotten jaw. At least Cotto had proven his punch resistance before his move up, Khan wouldn't have lasted two or three punches of the arsenal Ricardo Torres dished out on him. Says it all about boxing fans that apparently Cotto had a 'glass jaw' and was a 'K.O waiting to happen' after that fight even moreso, but that might have been due to Torres not being particularly well known at that time.

I mean Ricardo Torres at that time takes a massive dump on the Prescott that Khan fought. I cannot at all compare Khans move up with Cottos, Cotto was weight-drained, but still had big resistance and powers of recovery. Corley stunned him but Demarcus put the wobbles in quite a few good fighters. Khan was floored heavily by Limond and made to look pilled up by Prescott. I have little to no faith in his punch resistance whatsoever.

A real shame, chuck a average chin on a frame with the attributes Khan has and you have a possible ATG IMO.
