i think he ment by saying ''sparring means **** all'' by if they were to fight the spar shudnt be anything to go by

exactly - I disagree with that. He is within his rights to disagree with me, but to come out and say that I am defending sparring to in an effort to hype Dean Byrne because I am Irish.

when u spar u learn, u go through the motions, get used to a different style. yea its like a real fight but nowhere near if u know what i mean......actually dont answer that, im tired and its to late

 

I am not wound up, just pissed off the every issue seemed to get dragged down to an Irish v British issue. Its a joke and ****s this place up for me.

How many spars have you seen were the supposedly weaker fighter got the better of the spar when both men were being serious about it?

 

u admitted ur biased to irish fighters and the way u slate darren barker's legit injury didnt help

 

dont really wanna get into it, but quite a few times tbh, im pretty sure khan was not being 100% serious for this to happen, barrera kotelnik and salita coulnt do it with smaller gloves on for a total 18 rounds if my math is correct, these thing happen especially when fighters have dodgy chins as in khans case

 

like I have said elsewhere, I am biased towards Irish fighters with regards my support but not with regards my assessment of their ability.

My support doesnt wilt because I think an Irish fight is in against a better fight - but that doesnt stop me putting money on the other guy.

As for Barker - I never slated him for his injury - please back that statement up or withdraw it. I slated Barker for coming out and saying he was "100% fit" and then the very next day pulling out of the fight. That was bull**** and I rightly pulled him on it even if others let it slide.

 

LOL i remember many ppl were predicting a Khan loss against Kotelnik after Frank Warren released a sparring video of Khan struggling!
