Wow! I'm surprised how much support Carlos Molina is getting from U.K fans on twitter

My point is that Chisora is well liked on the Brit forum despite his arrogance and generally deplorable conduct. And yet he rather bewilderingly gets a free pass when Khan is constantly slammed for these same perceived failings.

The reason Khan went to the US was to get the best training available...everyman jack on here practically without exception applauded the move. Again on here fighters are encouraged and advised to get to the States for proper training and sparring....Fighters are encouraged to get over there and take big fights, because thats where the biggest fights are made....Currently Burns is being villified for not getting his arse over the Atlantic. Khan does go over and he gets the brickbat....I don't get it(I actually think I do), why he is held to a different set of standards than every other fighter from these shores?

As opposed to the cheating **** of a fighter who smashed his opponents head into the turnbuckle? Barrera gets a pass but Khan doesn't....PK is 100% right

Chisora isn't exactly white, while I agree it is extremely hypocritical, Chisora is open to just as much racial hatred as Khan

Derek Chisora has abit of a following in Liverpool, all the scallys that have a problem with Amir Khan have shown great respect for Derek Chisora. Not long ago he was having shots, with people in a Liverpool pub.

Allot of people North Liverpool cannot stand Amir Khan. I have heard and been told allot of racist remarks, its has allot to do with jealously and ingrained hatred.

But they follow his career with passion.

I think Khan is seen by many as an uppity muslim; everytime he is seen to have behaved in a blasphemous, irreligious fashion certain individuals seem to jump all over him. And I still don't understand why his cretinous ramblings on twitter seem to be thread worthy ...

I know there is racial hatred towards Khan, but what racist tweets Carlos Molina and says tells him to KO a glass jawed idiot? wouldn't their language be more colourful? hell, us ESB guys know that some people have active hatred for glass jawed fighters

I wanted Barrera to win because I'm a big Barrera fan. He has contributed a lot to boxing and has been in far more memorable fights than Tszyu, who was simply a very good fighter. Aside from that, Hatton is far more likable than Khan ever has been, so if there were people on the fence for Hatton/Tszyu and Khan/Barrera, I can see why people would support Hatton and Barrera.

Again though, why is it racist to not support Khan? If I was there, I probably would have booed him, not because I'm a racist but because it's all part of the atmosphere. You boo guys you don't like, you cheer the fighters you do. There's nothing vindictive about it. I'd like to see Khan get knocked out against Molina but does that opinion make me racist? Of course not. People dislike Khan but there's very little reason to suggest they dislike him because of his race. It's putting two and two together and coming up with five.

There are some people who are racist towards Khan but it's such an insignificant number, it's not worth mentioning.

I have no problem with those comments from Froch. If he said tomorrow that he could beat Calzaghe, I'd just say it's confidence. There's a difference between arrogance and confidence. Khan is one, Froch is the other.

Khan is quite possibly the most hated british boxer of all time. Theres definitely some racists among his detractors, though I think the majority, dislike him for his arrogance/overrated skills/glass jaw and completely deluded mindset. I know a few ****stani brits that think he's a bellend.

Fighters like Naz, Eubank etc were louder and more outspoken than khan, though crucially they had the skills and attributes to back it up, in the ring.

How many people hated Khan when he was a 17 year old Olympian?

He was cheered on by the entire fucjing country. The reason people don't like him now is because he is an utter bellend.

    What was it Khan said:

"If there were more people in the world like Amir Khan, the world will be a better place"

Britain is a genuinely racist country ran by zionist leaders that feed dehumanising anti islam propaganda to the masses on a daily bases. It's hardly surprising that a large percentage of the general public are racist. They have been institutionalised.

with all due respect what you wrote is a crock of ****. An arrogant ***** eh? Guess who said the following?

"Top fighters at top level can fight each other 10 times and it isn't going to be 10-0 to one man. I would have been in the mix with Hagler, Hearns and Leonard. Hagler was a fighter and a brawler and I can do that, but I can also box, use my range and boxing skills.

"I'd have not quite done a Sugar Ray Leonard on him but done half a Leonard and half a Hearns. It would have been a mixture of the two.

"I have a better chin than Hearns and I have got some of Leonard's skills. Domestically, Chris Eubank was skilful but crude. Nigel Benn was just a brawler, Steve Collins was just a tough brawler. I don't consider them to have been that hot and I could have beaten all three.

"I would have been a massive superstar in that era."

where's the hate? Guess who was calling out Calzaghe when he was a nobody even in his own home town and had proven nothing? Where's the hate? Oh sorry I forgot, that's just his tongue in cheek sense of humour, so he gets a free pass:roll:

Your point about Derek Chisora is total bull**** as well. Derek Chisora split things down the middle before his fight with Haye. There were those who wanted Haye to smash him but probably an equal amount that thought "he a G" or "a character". He was disliked by some, including myself, but the hate was nowhere close to the Hate Khan gets. Khan may be arrogant, but he's not bitten anybody, or slapped anyone, and he doesn't have convictions for public order offences. Khan can't back it up you say? Well how many boxers throughout history have said they were going to win, or KO their opponent and failed to back it up? Almost everyone who's laced up a pair of gloves. Delusion is something that everyone in life who wants to be a winner possess to an extent. Almost all boxers have it, because without it, they lose their dreams and may as well retire. When Hatton got KOe'd by Pac he refused to accept he wasn't good enough. He blamed the training camp, he said he over-trained, he said he was winning that round by a country mile.

Kal Yafai? please. Come back to me when Kal Yafai is a household name, then we'll compare the situation. Prince Naseem was loved. Prince Naseem was also hated, but even that's a poor comparison, because since then the situation regarding Moslems has changed. If Amir Khan was fighting in Hameds era, he would still be hated, but not to this extent.

I have no problem with people disliking Khan. I'm not a fan myself, but it's YOU who is the deluded, arrogant ***** if you fail to open your eyes and see that a significant proportion of his haters are racist. That's fine too, it's their right to be racist, but don't deny it. I don't know why people take it so personally. No one is calling you a racist. If you want to hate him, go ahead, no one is accusing you personally of racism. The point is, this kid is a bit of a dimwit, he's deluded, and he's arrogant. Yet he hasn't raped anyone, assaulted anyone, and he trash talks a lot less than other boxers. Yet, boxers who have done all those things get a free pass on here. If Amir Khan was undefeated, and humble, and intelligent, he would not get the same hate, BUT, here's the thing. Other boxers are allowed to be flawed. Amir Khan is not. Amir Khan has stepped out of line, outside the parameters of what is considered acceptable for him, and he gets a torrent of abuse for it. He's only allowed to be a good, humble little kid. Can you imagine what it would be like if he took his trash talking to a Ricardo Mayorga type level?

PK is spot on. These days it's not often I can say that, but he's spot on. Not all his haters are racist, but it's not less than 1% either. The truth is in the middle.
