Jack Loew, trainer of world middleweight champion Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik, isn't impressed by the "Calzaghe Connection" of next challenger Gary "The Rocket" Lockett. "I see where Lockett has become inspired by Joe Calzaghe's victory over Bernard Hopkins in his U.S. debut and is predicting the same result against Kelly. Maybe Enzo Calzaghe (Lockett's trainer) can teach Lockett to slap like a girl -- just like Joe," said Loew. "You can get away with that style of fighting against a 43-year-old geezer, but don't try that against Kelly. That's how rockets crash and burn. Kelly is having a camp that is second to none. We didn't work this hard to win the title just to have Lockett and his troubadour trainer take it away from us. Kelly is going to launch Lockett back to Wales...without a plane." Pavlik (33-0, 29 KOs) makes his first title defense against mandatory challenger Lockett (30-1, 21 KOs) on June 7 at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall.

Didn't Enzo say that Macca would've beaten Haye easily had Haye not knocked him out?

As ludicrous as that sounds, not even that can compete with hinting at the possibility Pavlik beats Joe Calzaghe

Don't be simple, he says all of his fighters are going to win. How did his predictions work out for Macca, and Reese?

Oh I think it is. Implying that your fighter is much better than a guy who just knocked out is way more ridiculous than Loew hinting that Pavlik can beat Joe.

well if he says all his fighters are gonna win, then you are the one being simple for bringing up his predictions to call him clueless. Or do you not see your double standard.

I just saw this & Jack Lowe is the freakin Man! This is some funny stuff here. Maybe he isn't trying to hype a KP vs JC fight, but rather be the 1st to fire a slavo into Camp Calzaghe, should the Slapper still be around & willing to risk his undefeated record against Kelly some day.

The best part is "Maybe Enzo Calzaghe (Lockett's trainer) can teach Lockett to

So you see...its not our imagination or negative hater talk. This is a professional observation from someone who knows boxing. If that comment doesn't get under Joe's skin, I don't know what will. Thats like 10x better than B Hops "ain't ever losing to a white boy" comment!

    ((((((((((((((((((GO LOWE)))))))))))))))))))))):happy

Question is, just how low will he go, to get under their skin?:yep
