Wow Jack Loew (Pavlik's Trainer) can talk some s**

Saying your fighter is going to win, and saying your fighter who already got knocked out is clearly better than the guy who knocked him out are two totally different things. I have no problem with a guy saying there guy is going to win. However, when you say your guy is clearly better than the other guy, even when your guy gets destroyed; well, that's a problem. I don't see how Loew is clueless for implying that Pavlik can beat Calzaghe, but Enzo isn't clueless for saying Macca is better than Haye. So to answer your question; no I don't see the double standard because there isn't one.

 

More people have heard of Lockett in the US than the UK. So none of this UK bum ****, nobody here cares and knows Gary will lose.

 

He did NOT beat Hopkins, he won a very questionable decision...

Lockett is not a bum. He's a big underdog against Pavlik with good reason, but bum is a bit of a harsh description.

You gotta love it, Kelly is humble and for the most part greatful for all he has accomplished yet his trainer is picking all the fights for him. The plan is working perfectly!

Lockett's is worse than anyone who Calzaghe has on his resume after becoming a champion (arguably other than Tocker Pudwill who was a replacement at two weeks notice).

Funny that none of the people who criticise parts of Calzaghe's resume are calling Pavlik out for it.
