Lockett does not slap and possesses one punch explosive Ko power and Is not as negative as Taylor was In the first fight when his explosiveness had Pavlik down early.

Yes, Lockett is WBO mandatory. Frank Warren's boxers tend to end up like that, somehow. And Calzaghe fought WBO mandatories. People criticise him for doing so rather than moving up a division in search of bigger challenges. Keep up son.

Almost all trainers talk smack, but I think he is right about the fight.

 

I like Team Pavlik, they make the working class look like Superheros.

 

Its called succesful trainer syndrome. Their sole, talented and elite fighter wins a few belts, and they go from being quiet nobodies to becoming big mouthed, arrogant, and ignorant assholes, who enjoy the limelight more than theri fighters.

Loew is just campaigning for the Calzaghe fight. Nothing more, nothing less.

That said, I liked him better before Pavlik became champ.

 

Pavlik has yet to fight his first defense. You want to criticize him for not moving up yet?

 

He's been trying this for days! Was the same post pretty much that I replied to with the Smiegel comment the other day.:rofl

 

He's in a division that's utter dross, whereas the division above is shaping up to be the hottest in boxing.

The only worthwhile fight for Pavlik at MW is Abraham (and even that is pushing it IMO), he should get that sorted and move up to where the action is going to be.
