True, I think Loew is an irritating, know it all. He's a jizz stain riding Pavlik's jock. I like Pavlik but Loew irritates the **** out of me. Enzo will smack the **** out of his ass ala Merkerson/Stone.

Bumping this thread while I'm thinking about it. New article basically says that Lowe is just tired of people talking trash about Kelly and he was lashing out for that reason. Hopefully the article will be on line later today and I'll link to it.

One thing that Jack Lowe does is make sure that Kelly comes into his fights in consistant shape ... and well prepared for whats in front of him.

I think that Kelly hasn't shown the world all of his tools and will be a force to be delt with in the future. Only 26 and entering his reign as champion.

If he's pushing that damn 300 lb montser truck tire ... there isn't many out here that would be able to handle him.

 

The article addresses training. Jsimps said he is already down to 170 and the article says that after two weeks of traing all of his 'soreness' was gone. Says the usual about best training camp ever, etc...

Hermit -- I can certainly understand why Leow would get irritated by the many Calzaghe supporters who are so dishonest in their analysis of a potential match-up. Joe makes EXACTLY the kind of mistakes, and has EXACTLY the kind of flaws, that would have him in big trouble by the middle rounds. On the other hand he does not seem to have anything in his arsenal to keep Pavlik off of him. Joe's supporters are never willing to admit this. Joe is still a damn good fighter, but Kelly is all wrong for him. I really hope Miranda beats Abraham, so that Pavlik/Calzaghe happens.

Pavlik fans need to get a reality check, this guy is full of **** trying to hype up a fight with Joe before he retires.
I like Pavlik think he's a great talent with a good punch but I hope Lockett puts up a good performance and at leasts hurts him good before Joe comes in to take him back to the schoolyard.
If they do fight Calzaghe isn't just going to stand there and trade with him, although he would have done a few years back and won anyway, he will outhink him and be too smart.
Take the blinkers off Pavlik fans and accept your fate, if they do fight your boy will soon be exposed as the one dimensional slugger we now he is!!

 

I only dredged this thread up because of what I considered 'new information'. Posters said they thought JackLowe was an out of line trash talker and they were losing respect for him. According to this article, he was blowing off steam in retaliation to remarks by Enzo and others. Nothing more, nothing less.

 

Didn't realise Enzo had slagged him off, Joe has always praised him up anyway!
