Longest running Kovalev fan on the board here but honestly screw his sore loser attitude post-Ward.

Oh C'mon that's just BS. I was 100% sure Kovalev would blow away Ward before the first fight. Then I watched the fight and realized I was completely wrong about the Krusher. He isn't as hard hitting as we thought. His hand speed isn't good. He can't fight on the inside. He can't handle adversity. Ward on the other hand has a better chin than I thought. Ward is adapting well to adversity in the ring, better than I thought.

So before fight #2 I thought Ward was the favorite. The fight confirmed that notion.

Stop whining, if you were wrong there's no shame in that. There's a lot of shame in coming up with cheap excuses though. Don't be a sore loser. Ward doesn't box exciting fights but he deserved the wins. Let's respect that.

 

I thought the punches that the fight was stopped on were low myself. SK has a glass body or glass testicles.

The main thing here is the bit about Kovalev not being able to handle adversity. This surprised me the most about him during the two fights. Unfortunately handling adversity is Andre Wards most obvious skill

 

I have no problems with what JDJ said, we already knew this from Able. Anyone with common sense knew Kovalev was a bully I made a legendary prediction thread about him being beat before the fight a day or two before the actual fight.

 

Krusher hits, hard. He had Ward rocked several times in the first fight. His hand speed over distance is actually better than Wards, which is why Ward was forced to fight on the inside. He couldn't out box Kovalev from far away. He shouldn't have had to handle "adversity", as it probably became apparent to him the fight was rigged after the first one.

Andre Ward is a petty excuse for a boxer and even more so for a man. He will do anything to win. If Sergey wasn't wearing boxing trunks that night, Ward would have been doing a very new kind of "BLOW" to take a little bit of Sergey's stamina.
