Wow, just read the news that Tarver tko'd

    Danny Green. Green has never beaten a prime, elite fighter, and now he has lost to an old, once elite fighter in Tarver. From what I read, Green couldn't stop the jab, and that he couldn't see the left coming.

    I heard so much about Greens chin that they forgot Tarver had a chin. Tarver had his jaw broken by Eric Harding, and still finished the fight...AND he came back to stop Harding in the rematch in 5.

    Good win for Tarver, and he did it away from home too.

    Yeah, I'm glad he did. People were all of a sudden rating Green as some kind of superstar after the RJJ victory while completely ignoring the fact that RJJ has been shot for nearly a decade.

    I'm glad Green got stopped and all, but he's hardly a spring chicken himself.

    I am surprised Green didn't knock his ass out though. Props to the old man. Now I hope he never returns to anything that has to do in boxing...please god no.

    Well he was at one point. Former lightheavyweight champion of the world and was the first man to KO Jones and also decisioned Glen Johnson at his peak. Also KOed Eric Harding and beat up on Montell Griffin.

    This is good news. Green has spent FAR to long feasting on has been's and past prime fighters. Tarver himself is way past his prime but doesn't have alot of mileage. Great win for Tarver. May be Green's op affected him?

    I never considered Tarver elite. Good or a topfighter yes, but never elite. You have to beat elite fighters to become an elite fighter...no elite fighter on his record. RJJ was on the decline..though Tarver was the one to expose it. Like I said I give him his props.

    Surprised how you complete doofus! Tarver has never been stopped and was not about to be stopped by some club level bum.

    I am so glad Tarver whooped that ass with quite the boxing lesson.

    I had cash on Tarver to beat him since he's is clearly a just a better boxer than Green. I thought he'd outbox him to a decision though.
