Wow Macarinelli got KTFO ref should have stopped it far sooner

Yes, his head was like a bobble head both times he got hit with the left hook, but he got up.

Still, the first one was so brutal should of been stopped there. I was relatively shocked he got up even though someone said the ref let it go on too long.

 

Frenkel seems like a very silent guy! Or maybe he just thought he had killed Maccarinelli right there! Scary KO!

When he got up he looked a bit suspect to me but the ref let him go...but clearly he was gone! I mean if your hurt and you get up to continue, if you have some kind of survival insticts i think putting your hands up is the first thing you do..he didnt! Looks like he just tried to grab and clinch. He should've just stayed down becuase he was spent.

Frenkel was very classy and showed concern for his opponent rather than thumping his chest.

Felt a bit sorry for Enzo. Likable big guy, who was getting his career back on track... However he got hit with the perfect punch tonight, despite doing pretty decent up to that point. It's not as if he did a lot wrong.

 

Agree: that was a lethal left hook, thrown with speed and power.

Frankel knew he had the power to end it anytime and lulled poor Enzo into a false sense of security. When Frankel got his opening, he didn't miss.

Indeed!! The ref did a ****ed-up job! The first KD was incredible.. Still wonder how he got up from that. And what about his people?? His corner should have thrown in the towel or jumped into the ring. Always nice to see people get KO but I can't understand how this kind of **** can happen.
Jacobs got hurt in a similar way, asleep for a short while and he might have been able to get up (not sure though). The ref did his job and didn't even let him try to get up. That was a good decision!
