If he doesn't demand the lions share of the purse and understands that PAC will get the majority of the money then we'll be seeing a GREAT FIGHT!!!!! I can't wait.

 

I would love to see this fight. However, Arum seems only interested in putting Pac in there with them setups. It's a shame too. Pac is a really good fighter. I would like to see him in there with a live guy. Hopefully after he wins that bogus title from Diaz, he'll fight one of the Juans, or Guzman.

 

A 60/40 split in Pac's favor sounds about right. If Marquez can't accept that, he's being foolish.

I completely agree with you that 60/40 in fav for PAC is MORE THAN FAIR! If Pac declined that, I wouldn't say it was JMM fault that this fight did not come to furition.....I would have to blame PAC, but this senario hasn't played out this way. the original offer was for PAC to get $850K and JMM to get $750K and JMM declined which was CRAZY b/c that was a lot of money for this division and for these fighters.....of course PAC makes more now, but back then it was a good purse for BOTH fighters.

Pac will take the best risk/reward fight like every fighter always does.

Doesn't mean he's scared. If another fighter can offer Manny more money, thats who his promoters will put him in with. Hell, its not even Manny, but Arum who decides.

 

It might be because Casa is more interested in running, clenching, headbutting, holding and punching the balls rather than fighting.

 

Manny needs to fight JMM next. Promoters need to make this fight happen, I have faith in DLH making this come to fruition.

I agree. PAC would have trouble with David Diaz, but thinks he's the weakest link and may be. Manny NEEDS to fight JMM while he's still on top and Juan is getting old. I really think PAC wants to duck Marquez bcuz he didn't forget how he knocked him down 3X and Marquez got up to punish him.

 

if pacquiao beats marquez, would you consider marquez shot?
