    He made the fight for the Interim Title on the understanding that the winner will not get the shot against Loma until they build themselves further in the sport!

    This allows Loma to go for the undisputed fight with no obstacles!

    Haney, Davis or Lopez will not fight Loma anytime soon. The usual suspects will then claim Loma is a ****ing coward with a **** resume and bring up the Salido fight.

    Haney was set to "build himself" against Campbell for a shot at Loma , but the WBC would allow him , instead making unified champ Loma the mandatory challenger. :eyebrow2:

    Actually this whole 'interim title' thing is already ridiculous. Loma is not even injured. Sulaiman probably elevated this bout to interim title due to criticism he received for having to fight Campbell. Some sort of consolation prize, but for me it's laughable. If WBC intends to do the right thing, they should make the winner of this contest an immediate mandatory challenger and have him faced Loma at the end of this year.

    What WBC does today is exactly similar to WBA with their super and regular title. The organization gets only the profit for collecting champion's fee from both parties.

    Then, when Loma is sufficiently aged, the primed stars will fight him, and if they manage to win the line will inevitably be "once Loma stepped up to a prime fighter his own size, he lost"

    Its all so predictable.
