Manny wanted to prior notice when the testers were coming.

I have never seen 154lb as an issue for Floyd. Always said it had more to do with the opponents. The Cotto fight would have gone the same way at 147. If anything, Floyd can do like Pac did against Margarito and come in light so he is more comfortable if that is the case.

Mayweather moved up in weight earlier then he ever had to.

That's exactly what I think he is going to do.

On a side note when Mayweather fought Hoya at JMW he wasn't walking around at 150+ at the time. He was 3 fights removed from Jr WW and was weighing in at 147 on fight night. Pac was weighing in 147 on fight night as a Jr Lightweight/Lightweight. He could have been fighting at Jr WW if he wanted to. He clearly had to bulk up more weight then he ever had to in his career for that fight. Vs Cotto though I could agree since he was able to grow into a WW. Mayweather vs Cotto at WW when Mayweather was lighting fast would have been bad news for Cotto. Cotto's best chance was when they fought at JMW with an older somewhat slowed down Mayweather.

I've always said Floyd was great. I don't think anyone will say ODH was close to prime at that time, and Cotto wasn't either. They were better then the likes of Ortiz and Guerrero though.
