How many posters on here were convinced Ortiz would beat Amir Khan, despite the fact that Khan knocked Ortiz out in two rounds in the ams?

Both Ortiz and Maidana are so far below Khan's skill level it's embarrassing.Admittedly,Khan has a dodgy chin, but unlike Ortiz he has plenty of heart and doesn't look to bottle it once the going gets tough.

Victor has no future in the game if he a) cannot outbox a crude slugger who lost to Kotelnik and b) quits when hit

Khan's much faster than those two, but he's **** otherwise. Completely overhyped and I think I know the reason you're overrating him (cought...the UK in your username...cough). All Khan does is flurry, flurry, flurry. He's not all that skilled and his chin is a ****ing joke.

Khan does have pleanty of heart to get back up when he has been put down off blown up featherweights/super feathers who arent even punchers.

But the ONLY time he fought someone who was the same size as him plus a puncher he was put to ****ing sleep.

The difference between Ortiz and Khan is that Ortiz has actually beaten people his own size.

People just like to think that because Ortiz is American that he is automatically a world beater. Bull**** in my opinion. Ortiz would get stopped by Khan and outboxed and embarresed

I think Khan would beat Ortiz, but I feel Maidana would brutally KO Khan.

I think Khan beats both of them and very easily too.

Ortiz is not a good boxer, he hasn't got the boxing skills Khan has.

He can fight but he dont possess much in the form of pure boxing skills.

When he had to draw upon boxing skills and using his head he didn't and then he quit when he was getting his ass exposed by a brawler with not much in the form of boxing skills.

Just because Ortiz is American doesn't make him good, Khan already stopped Ortiz in 2 rounds with headgear on for ****s sake.

Ortiz has no heart when the going gets tough, he is a pretty boy who wants to stay that way.

Maidana does not box at all he just slugs.

As long as Khan does not get landed he beats Maidana and probably stops him down the stretch.

Ortiz has enough to take Khan's head off within the first 3 rounds. Khan is complete crap. :yep

Shows how much you dont know about boxing. Ortiz is the one who fought like a non thinking fighter against Maidana. He could of beat him easily and Khan would stop both Maidana and Ortiz and Khan already stopped Ortiz with Headgear on if you dont know your boxing.

    Go and do some research...

    I agree.

As far as styles go Maidana is a terrible match-up for Khan.

Breidis Prescott just slugs too. In fact, I see a lot of similarity btw Prescott and Maidana.

I don't think Khan goes more than 3 with Maidana either. :yep
That guy is just that bad.
