I don't think so. Picking against the consensus underdog only for the fight to be an upset is forgivable
It is a journalists job to remain unbiased, and just report the facts. Rafael is doing just that. He is pretty much spot on with his criticism of Haye. The real problem is that not enough people are being fairly critical of Haye, especially the UK media. If he was held more accountable for his shitty run at heavy then he would have to actually make an effort. It has already been mentioned that there is a world of difference between Haye's efforts and Wlad's. That is likely the reason why Rafael is not critical of the fight. However, I would disagree with him. Personally, I think that the Chisora fight is a joke. Chisora is being given an unbelievable and totally undeserved opportunity - and is nowhere near Wlad's class. It's a huge disappointment.
Who are you disappointed with? Povetkin and Haye should be the answer. The difference between Haye's easy defences and Klitschko easy defences is that the Klitschkos are forced into taking easy stay-busy fights when no one wants to fight them/no one is available. Haye cherry picks easy opponents when most of the division would fight him given an opportunity, and even then he fights infrequently
Rafael is upset with Haye for pulling out of two fights with Wlad and Vitali. He is upset because the Valuev fight was beyond dull, and Harrison was utterly pathetic. The fact that round one between Harrison vs, Haye should have been a 9-9 rounds sums it up. Boxing only get limited ink these days. Don't give it to a trash talker who won't walk the walk. When is Haye going to fight someone with a heart beat?
I wouldn't even blame Haye for pulling out of the Wlad fight because him and his manager ****ed up the entire Setanta deal. They were just stupid and unprofessional betting on a half-bankrupt TV station, maybe it was due to their inexperience in the business. But what I blame Haye for is lying, shittalking, making empty promises and generally deceiving us boxing fans for his own personal profit. That's despicable and inexcusable.
Sure that resume is competitive with everyone except the Klits and Adamek, but it looks less impressive when we consider he's only had 4 fights in the last 3 years. It would be easier to forgive Haye for fighting patsies if he'd also take a worthy challenge in-between. I don't think the fight with Valuev was very competitive...Haye made it seem competitive because he didn't throw enough punches. Valuev was slow as hell and would have been beaten by many top heavys on that night. The rest of Haye's opposition is too old and shot to be compared to Klitschko opposition.
Haye has gone into tough fighters before, Mormeck in France, Valuev in Germany and Enzo Mac were all considered serious challanges for Haye at the time. I think he will fight Vitali first.

what about Bunce (sp?) in the UK.... totally bias against the brothers and pro Haye.... you hate him also for being bias? While maybe Dan was a little over board... but if you read between the lines... he is right on..... enough is enough with Haye... its really time to step up or SHUT UP!
then who should it be. Haye "no" Povetkin "no" Adamek "no" so who then for wlads 3rd fight of the year
