Manfredy was a solid contender. He couldn't beat the A level guys, but he could handle the rest. He put hands on Gatti.

Because somebody is taking advantage of his sorry situation and making him do that video. That's what struck me as sad.

 

Manfredy was actually doing very well for himself up to the point he took on Floyd. I think he was on a 20 or 21 fight win streak and hadn't lost in several years.

It was a bit of a premature stoppage, but I've seen worse. Those were the good old days of Mayweather when he knew he had an opponent stunned, he'd go for the kill. 4-6 punch combinations were the norm for him between SFW and JWW.

 

He looks like he had a stroke or something. What the hell is wrong with his right eye?

Angel was a warrior in the ring, and this is the outcome when guys stay around too long.

 

Manfredy actually got out of boxing at a pretty reasonable stage in his career. He's screwed up because of the all the drugs he used to do.

 

Odd. Was an exciting fighter to watch when he was in his prime.
