JW most of us stray off the thread occasionally. Friendly banter between you and
    Ashley is fine by me.
Just thought that giving a Jnr member 20a87 a hard time over views that he was
expressing was a bit over the top.

Froch's "win" over the weekend only served to show him as 2nd rate and his defining win over taylor looks worse as anticipated

More Steaming Horse **** mate ,

How can you call the WBC Super Middle Weight Champ of the World 2nd rate ?

The man won a genuine title in many peoples fight of the year v Current WBA Light heavy Weight Champion Jean Pascal and has defended it TWICE v Taylor & Dirrell , I ain't a massive fan of Froch myself but to call him second rate whilst proclaiming Mundine as even World class is idiotic to say the least .

Jean Pascal is the current WBC light heavyweight champ for starters, you think it's ok to rag on mundine despite him being an ex wba super middleweight world champ and current ibo middleweight champ. I really don't rate froch and in his "foty" performance he was easily tagged and by no means put on a clinic. I'm not blindly proclaiming mundine to be an all time great or anything like that but skill wise he shits on most fighters in that regard i'd rather fight like the mundine who beat geale rather than the froch that robbed dirrell.

I await to see who you think has a better performance against kessler - froch or mundine.

Yawn well it was early when i typed WBA instead of WBC , and yea FOTY normally means both fighters got hit  AGAIN who said he put a clinic on Pascal ? Mundine was World class years ago but since Green he has steadily wiped out the entire Buneos Aries taxi trade whilst swanning around Australia claiming All time P4P greatness and its idiots like you that lap it up , how old are you ? Mundine picks on weaker fighters period , the mans a fraud and a bully to boot , wake me up IF he EVER has another meaningful fight EVER again . WBA regular ? he got that when the REAL world class lads in the division Calzaghe & kessler were fighing for the real one , Joe tossed it to fight Roy Jones Jr nd Mundine picked it out of the bin then refused to defend it v kessler ,,Some hero you have there champ .:-(

You keep questioning things like i'm attributing them to you, I am aware you did not say froch put on a clinic I am saying that to get across that froch is not some sort of world beater. A fight of the year between two highly skilled individuals e.g. vasquez and marquez is different to a shootout brawl. Mundine is the best in Oz in his weight class and he is world class whether you like it or not, he holds an increasingly legitimate world belt. Geale was no slouch and no cab driver.
As for who I do or do not admire in boxing surely that is upto me and i'm sure everyone differs. In context of the thread someone that picks up the sport late after a previously successful career in a different sport and then takes a world title fight in germany for his 11th fight failing but bouncing back to win a world title is a pretty good template for someone to look up to. Add to this his lack of corporate sponsorship so that he can remain as outspoken as he likes on any topic he sees fit shows more character and positive traits than many other "champions".

As for my age that is irrelevant instead you should question your maturity in your response to my thoughts and opinions and compare that to mine.

I'm also pretty sure the aussies are sick of 2 brits conducting their one sided debate on their boards.

JW Somebody has to give you the bad news.

Mikkel Kessler is going to give your pin up boy Froch a serious touch up in
    Copenhagen early next year.

And this is bad news to me ? in what way ?

Fail .....Look at my post aimed at poster kel the other day , Froch getting beaten by Kessler and AA was always my opinion , Froch is just a brawler and will come unstuck using that style v any form of class . See i unlike 20 ain't trying to bull**** anyone up around here .

mate in his heart JW probably knows that but at least Froch will have a go.Mandy ran and cowered and fought to last 12 rounds in their fight and ran to MW rather than be KTFO by a fully fit MK.
