what a ***** . . . didnt even try to fight for 8 rounds. . then quits atsch grade A looser that guy is
He did Try to Fight....but Vitili's top 10 ATG power and speed to match his height, was too much. I was surprised Peter didn't hit the floor before quiting. Was Peter right to quit...yes.... Eye swelling, head pounded in.....and KNOWing, he was behind all 8 rounds. Sometimes you just don't need some one getting punchy form just one fight.... He got the crap pounded out of him, and it was just a matter of a round or two before going down....he knew it....he'd been staggered hard a number of times, and was getting easier to hit, and knew that too.....and his corner must have asked him....and they did not try to talk him out of it. Peter was right to quit, while he still had a life to have....he wasn't being hit by Jr. He was being hit by Sr.
i never ever gave him a prayer in this fight. terrible styles match for him. klitschko was always gonna keep him at the end of his punches. peter will always be what he is. a win some lose some top 10 contender.
:verysad Its a shame. Peter was lumbering from the 1st round. He took the punches well I thought, but Vitali was letting him breathe too much instead of attacking with a decent combo structure he just kept backing off after 3 pinches or so. A disappointing fight. The end result was inevitable I suppose but it would have been nice to see a ko.
This was like watching the Vitali Danny Williams beat down. I cant believe guys on this board actually gave Peter a chance. The guy has NO SKILLS to speak of. His power is overrated because he STILL doesnt know HOW to punch. He has no movement no head movement a porous defence, is horribly flawed in all departments, and way to rough around the edges and most of all pig ignorant to be anything special in the heavyweight division.
Was pretty similar to W.Klitschko/Brewster II but of course in Vitali's style of fighting. Peter just had no chance in this fight and wasn't in it from round one.
Vitali would have done a similar job on Joe Frazier, Holyfield, Tyson, Marciano, Dempsey, Ken Norton, George Foreman or just about any other HWT great from history. Vitali may very likely be one of the top 3 HWT CHAMPS OF ALL TIME. He is just a ruthless, vicious, relentless, accurate phenomenal fighting machine. Even at the age of 37.
what?, i take it you've never heard the saying.... "when the going gets tough, get the **** out of dodge, or quit on your stool" as expected of peter, no heart....
