I am in Chicago right now, watching the fight live. What an atmosphere. Using my iPhone to write this.

Really impressed by this fighter! The already very exciting MW division got a new star!!

    What's next for him? :think

Is MW "very exciting" because the overall talent is so low relative to other divisions that the competition is fiercely even in their mediocrity? I see nobody trying to make that claim.

I named him my "Prospect of the Month", thinking it was a bit risky in what looked to be a 50/50 fight. Turns out Sulecki is a bit better than expected. He can be a top-10 guy, but no one is beating Golovkin.

I think he's got better power than advertised by his record, much like Raushee W@rren.

He just doesnt press the action like a puncher does.

It makes ppl a little leary of his ability in the bigger fights, but Geale beat Sturm and Mundine and IMO, Barker.

That said, he's not a puncher, but not because he lacks power, but rather looks to either spoil or admire his work after he lands and hurts his opponent. Same goes for this Sulecki chap.

Could certainly make a big splash, especially if he can get a fight with someone like Harrison next.
A KO by one or the other is 100% guaranteed. :thumbsup

"So low relative to other divisions"? Get that sand out of your vag. It's better than current LMW. Really, SMW is nothing to discuss either. That division has been fast becoming another wasteland like lightweight.

Sulecki joins up with Magomedov as a top fighter/prospect that's still tip-toeing outside of the top 10. Man, the problem is that middleweight really needs to clean up fast. A lot of these prospects need to be fighting each other or other contenders.

These dudes are ready to step it up.

    Magomedov
    Sulecki
    Derevyanchenko
    Szeremata
    Blanco

These guys still need some building up.

    Murata
    Falcao brothers
    Quigley
    Gausha
    Brant
    Ogogo
    Khytrov

These guys need to be fed to prospects.

    Lee
    Quillin
    N'Dam
    Heiland
    Khurtsidze
    Monroe Jr.
    Rosado
    Korobov
    Johnson
    Mora
    Douglas
    Stevens

Look at that list. This is a very healthy list of fighters. It is an exciting division for sure. Compare it to LMW and SMW.

FTR.....Sulecki just fought a top 20 contender/prospect in Centeno, and showed true skills, both offensively, defensively, and a decent beard. Nothing flashy like Lubin, Spence, or Andrade, the TRUE and RIGHTFUL heirs to GGGs throne, but still, a solid performance vs a fellow top 20.

However, if the promoters start FEEDING the name contenders highlighted in my quote, you will see 90% of them on their backs holding their @sscheeks together soas not to shiit themselves.

    And you forgot Soro. :think

Soro jumps up and down in weight. I really don't know what division he wants to stay at. He's probably a top 10 fighter in either SMW or MW division too.

Lee is no joke. If you aren't careful, he could very well knock your head off your shoulders. These prospects would do well to be careful when fighting Lee. People are also sleeping on Korobov. Korobov/Murata was being talked about, and I really think Korobov would've beaten Murata. Korobov will come back after a good win. He's a very, very good fighter. He has a sparring video with Andre Dirrell, and Dirrell says how well he can box.

Really, I don't see Andrade doing much at MW compared to his run at LMW. I mean look at that prospect list. After these very talented fighters start getting their run, MW will likely become one of the most stacked divisions. These fighters and prospects at LMW would do well to stay put.

Only other divisions I see with raved prospects are LHW, FW, and SFW.

Ah, I didn't forget him. I took him out of the step up list and was about to put him on the building up list. I guess I deleted him and forgot to move him.

Khytrov hasn't looked that great. His power is legit, but he really needs more building up. I was thinking he should be in the step up list, but I think it's a waste considering it might be he just isn't a fast-track fighter like Derevyanchenko and Blanco.

I'm not sure if he'll ever get to his glory days people who've seen him in the amateurs rave about, but you never know once he starts getting more fights under his belt.
