Lopez beating Lomachenko when he did would have been the equivalent of Canelo beating Mayweather when they fought.

If you only count thrown punches... I am not saying that loma should have been awarded for this round but to say that Lopez outlanded Loma by such margin is not based on reality.

Jabbr.ai has more connecting punches to Lomachenko for round 12.

There is good slow motion video showing this round:

Compubox showing landed punches 50-19 is utter trash and is just based on assumptions because live watcher cannot detect so much what is actually landing. AI evaluation is way more reliable than compubox live watchers. I could believe that AI has something wrong and there is chances that Lopez landed few punches more but compubox 50-19 is ridiculous and should not be regarded here at all.

It's clear as day Lopez won the round landed the more telling shots and even staggered Lomachenko. I don't need stats or slow motion to state what's plainly obvious infront of my eyes.

I didnt´say that I give that round for Loma. I would incline to give this round to Lopez due to hard and effective punches but if we go about landed punches then it´s really unclear.

At what point Loma was staggered? He kept coming on all the time. His activity was less in round 12 than in previous rounds but those previous rounds he dominated the fight.

I recommend you to watch slow motion especially at the end of the round. Some great defensive boxing from Loma. He was effectively taking huge risks and fighting in the pocket and evading huge blows from Lopez.

He got schooled and exposed in his last fight but got a gift decision. He should've lost all his belts.

So Catterall would’ve been the man at 140 if he got the decision back then?

Now JT has lost the belts and Lopez still has a loss on his record, is Catterall the man now?

Anyway he's serious about this retirement and it's not just a ploy to increase his value? Are his past health concerns a real issue still?

Canelo was never Mayweather's superior, athletically speaking unlike Lopez.

Who cares? That class is nothing until they start fighting each other.

It's a good resume. Not HOFer material yet

Hall of Very Good at this point. Hell of a fighter and convinced me he is not merely a KO hypejob like I had first pinned him to be when he was bodybagging nobodies for his first few fights on TV.

Not disputing what Teo deserves....however the HOF discussions for active fighters these days doesn't seem to require much substance....or fights for that matter.

Glad his career is back on track. He has a long way to go to have a HOF resume but a few more big wins and anything is possible. He needs to unify 140.
