Now im back from loosing the Cotto-Pac bet and having to leave for a month, i would like to hear your thoughts on last weekends jhonson-klit fight? why do you reckon jhonson wanted to stay in survival mode all night and not fight?

also who do you guys think Khan will fight next Bradley? dangorous opponent for him, i think he should fight Maidana

I believe Freddie will advise against Bradley at the moment. Bradley's come into his own and Khan is still green. That one round against Salita may've been a great one for the highlight real but it gave him nothing experience-wise to deal with someone like Bradley. Nothing. They need to find...a Bradley light. Know what I mean? Johnson has said he had an elbow injury, which doesn't sound likely to me but we may get medical records or something. Some have speculated that he wanted to just let Vitali wear himself out, then realized he made a big mistake when Vitali continued at the same pace every round and broke a compubox punch record for HWs. I don't know as I believe that either as Vitali threw I think seven or eight hundred in just his last fight. That would be an enormously bonehead move if that's the case. Probably he just fell apart while on the big stage. It's a shame, he's talented and if he had half the heart of Arreola combined with the skill, he'd have made a good go of it and maybe shocked us all.

Johnson just wanted to show that he is slick and wanted to go the distance against Vitali which is a big moral victory.

Khan should go after Maidana, his speed would give Marcos hell, but if he gets caught it might be over because I think Maidana hits WAY harder than Prescott.

Bradley would take Khan to a place he has not been before, Roach should know Amir is not ready yet at all.

I think it's because every time he tried to do something, vk hit him on the way in, and it became too frustrating and seemlingly impoosible. he was looking for the big counters, but they never came. lennox was really surpirsed that KJ was doing nothing, changing nothing, as were we all.
if he was given a shot at the title, why wasn't he going balls out arreola style? his talking in the ring looked really idiotic too - all he was doing was defending and bobbing his head around. no idea why he did not fight. scared is all i can think of.

Damm, we've had some bloody awful HW championship fights lately! And that BS on Saturday ranked right up there with the worst of the worst. I've been a fan of the Klits, but it's starting to wear thin. A guy can only take so much.

The only reason I can think of for Johnson's pathetic display was that his only goal from the outset was to be the 2nd man to go the distance with VK... nothing more.

Maybe he thought he would turn it on in the late rounds when Vitali slowed down... but then chickened out, and decided to coast to the finish line for the moral victory of going the distance.

I'm waiting for the BS excuses to come out... "I was hurt in training" "I was sick" "they poisoned my food and water" "I broke my hand in the 1st rd" etc...

I don't think Khan's people will put him in with Bradley just yet... El Chino would be a pretty dangerous opponent for Khan as well imo...

I could see them picking a fairly "safe" opponent for this optional defence. Not sure who?

You know I dont think Khan is gonna be a top dawg in the division. Hes not a fighter you can risk and so I dont think hell be in with any true banger at the moment. Bradley, Maidana, or even Ortiz are too dangerous at this point. The only fights I could see him taking are Marquez, Malignaggi, and or any other fighter who doesnt have much pop at the weight.

I agree. Maidana or Ortiz would fold Khan like a lawn chair!

    Bradley would outwork Khan.

Khan needs more fights to see where he is really at. Malignaggi, Hatton?

We didn't have to wait long. He's already claimed that his elbow was hurt and that he concealed it from even his own camp.

what I want to comment on is the foolishness of taking a time off or avatar bet over the Pac/Cotto fight. I told you guys "don't do it" but no -- ya didn't listen.

Sorry bro, just had to rub it in a bit:hey
