Wow, the Casamayor That Fought Saturday Would Beat Pac

Katsidis knocked Casa out of the ring and PAC has better skills. His power was still evident vs JMM and pulled the W. I think the chances are good that PAC TKO's Casa in the later rounds.

 

I would gladly make it two months if it happens. make sure not to tell me casa is over the hill if pac beats casa ok?! nor i would not like to hear the would have, could have ok?!

honestly, i think it would be harder for pac to fight david diaz than casa. Since diaz is younger I beleive he (pac) will get more credit if pac wins over diaz than casa or papa nate!

Casa, I believe is not mentioned in the near future possible fights of pac..

anyway, looking forward to see pac vs casa (whenever, where ever)

There's another thread around here by HellBlazer Where it says PAC accepted the terms. Casa or David Diaz are the reports thus far that are likely.

Pacquiao's power was less evident against every opponent at 130 than it was in his previous weight classes. And Katsidis hits harder than Pacquiao, and while he knocked Casamayor out of the ring, he still couldn't stop him. Neither could Corrales and Castillo, known punchers at the 135 weight class. Katsidis is also stronger than Pacquaio. Casamayor wouldn't back up against Pacquaio.

Pacquiao may beat him, but his chances of stopping Casamayor are slim to none.

 

i bet $150 at +210 (lv hilton) that casamayor would beat katsidis and watching that fight, he looked a lot WORSE against katsidis than i thought he would, especially when he got overconfident and started getting pummeled against the ropes... i'm surprised no one has talked about how much time he was given to get back into the ring after he was knocked out of it... so i guess what i'm saying is i'm a huge casamayor backer but i think at this point right now in his career, he is essentially done and pacquiao would win handily against him (a KO/TKO if they trade, a boring UD ala pacquiao-barrera 2 if casamayor boxes)... i can't see the great casamayor winning against pac-man at this point

 

Saying his power is less evident when fight skilled boxers who fought very technically in MAB and JMM? Is due to higher skill level's where he's been forced to Box more. I credit him for stepping up his game in that regard. He still KD JMM again and had good pop. Even if it goes 12? I think Pac at this stage wins anyway.

Katsidis? He's a brawler and it caught up vs a more experienced and skilled opponent. PAC has the experience, skill, and IMO still good power there. I think 135 is as high as he should go though in that regard. Strength? They wont be wrestling around inside a whole lot and that didnt help Katsidis enough anyway. Katsidis volume, determination, and decent pop are his trademarks. Skill's and experience cost him that win.

 

His power was less evident against Morales, Solis, and Larios as well. Not just the skilled boxers, but in general. Has he gotten more skilled? Yes, but not enough so that it will make a difference in his fight with Casamayor. In any case, his ability to win or lose isn't what I am talking about.

Katsidis may have been a brawler. It isn't really relevant. My point is he has more power than Pacquiao, and he coudn't stop Casamayor. Castillo and Corrales were huge punchers who couldn't stop him. Pacquiao is not going to do it either. Good power (which remains to be seen) isn't enough to stop him, unless he is completely shot.

 

well we've already seen this fight before and casa won a close decsion. but right now it a toss up to me

we're not talking about his fans we're talking about how most people who pick against him do so because they don't like him and WANT him to lose, not because they think he will lose.

Pac has 100x more fans than Casa, and 100x more haters.
