I'm picking Rear Naked Choke round 2, Penn subs Diaz. After hurting Diaz in round 1 as well. I think Penn is going to come out and light him up. By the foot and hand, Penn is so much faster than him. Also he changes levels alot faster. He is just the superior athlete, as well as technician. This fight is easy to call IMO.
your outta your minds nick diaz will tko bj penn in round 3 or sub him in round 3 trust me, you will all be surprise on oct 29th watch bj penn hit the canvas in fashion!
Diaz is going to beat Penn. And he's going to make it look like childs play. Styles people. Penn won't be able to close the distance. The only way he wins is on the mat. And it's not going there.
Penn hasn't looked that great recently. We know he can be beaten standing. Diaz likes to use his reach, and has a really good chin, so he seems to have a good advantage standing. I think this is Diaz just not being cocky and showing a guy respect who he has looked up to for a long time. Even Diaz has respect for some folks. I won't be surprised at all if Diaz comes away with a tko or ud. Then again I wouldn't be surprised if Penn walks away with a U.D.
A. How will Penn not be able to close the distance when he has quicker feet, much better head movement, changes levels very well and faster hands B. Why do you think it won't go to the Mat? Because BJ won't try and take it there, or he won't be able to take Nick down? BJ took Fitch down at will and also has taken GSP down, he will get Nick "no wrestling" Diaz down, don't be stupid. C. And :rofl @ making anything look like Child's Play against Penn.
I doubt it... & if BJ accepts the 5 rounds (which I also doubt) as Diaz asked then it will likely be Diaz who wins in brutal fashion, if anybody. My pick is Diaz on points in a 5 rder.... or either man by controversial decision in a 3 rder (3 rds are not enough to split these guys IMO)
huh :huh Not comparing their styles, they aren't even in the same sport. However, their speed is kinda similar. But just how they gained a reputation off of fighting mid-level guys, and were/are considered elite without ever even competing against the elite. :deal And yes, I've been watching Diaz for a long time. I'm a fan of his and make a point to watch his fights. He's entertaining as hell. But he has never beat anyone close to BJ's level, he's never even been in the ring with a top 5 welterweight for ****s sake! :deal
