Wow thats pretty tight 10 former/Current World Champions on 1 card along with Joel Julio in action. If this fight was later in the year id be there.
I don't believe the Collazo-Mitchell fight is happening. I also don't believe Rivera-Santos and Briggs-Garay fights are happening either. There was an article about Rivera-Santos in a Rhode Island newspaper a few weeks ago with Rivera and it didn't sound like it was happening. The Showtime press release only lists the main event, Cintron and Karmazin fights.
Half that card isn't confirmed. Collazo-Mitchell is just a rumor at this point, and I'm pretty sure Rivera isn't fighting. And Paul Briggs on the card? That's news to me.
That is an obscene card. That has about eleven or twelve past/present champs. Every bout has something to look for.
so is this showtime or hbo ppv? also will all of those fights even be televised b/c if so it could be an all night event and i don't see that happening. (having vargas/mayorga start at midnight sounds wrong)
Holy ****. How can they have so many 10/12 round fights on one card? Usually they would have much more 4-8 rounders. That card is insane. They could have easily made this into two separate events.
Excellent card. I doubt all those fights will come off, but even if a few drop off it's still a solid night at the fights. I wonder how many fights they will televise?
