You missed the part where I pointed out how slick a defensive fighter and counter-puncher Toney was. I imagine this fight would end similar to Benn/Watson, though Toney was better in the pocket than Watson, who countered Benn often.

I actually give Eubank a good chance, much better than Benn.

Eubank would have a much better chance than Benn.it would depend of what Toney would show up if he showed out of shape than he would be in trouble if not i think he would win a close decision.

don't be silly. toney would counter benn stupid and most likely stop him but everybody benn hits feels the pain. toney would take his shots but not without a little trouble.

Benn couldn't crack an egg compared to hasim rahman or Sam Peter. :deal

That comparison doesn't really work though. Not as some make it out to.

Toney is a great fighter. One of the best I've seen. A guy can lose fights when he has had so many.

True. Toney's best performance was against Mike McCallum. That's one that makes me think I do underrate him, even while I consider everyone else to be overrating him.

It's not that he won. It's how he did it. He stood twelve inches from his man all night and barely got touched once.

When did I say he did? He said Toney would never let a white boy beat him. I disagreed. It's funny how mother****ers misinterpret posts.

This is a stupid logic, Calzaghe isn't Jones, I think it would have been a close fight.

Thats strange as Joe has good Handspeed but he wont have the power to get Toney's respect.

Joe also doesnt have that footwork to get out of range.

Sweet Pea always dismisses Benn, just ignore it. I do.
