Amazing, only 13 days until the fight, and Vitali still hasn't pulled out with an injury..its like 2005, 2006 and 2007 never happened... Still not too late though.

Get Travis Walker in sparring with him, he'll get the job done. He'll make Quitali buckle like a ***** from an overhand right again and injury him like he did before the Rahman fight.

I think the four years away from fighting was the best thing Vitali could have done despite the critisim he has received for it.He looked much more fluid and seemed to have better balance in the Peter fight than I have seen in the past fights of his. That seems to coincide with his back surgery and healing time.If anyone has had back problems before will tell you,it will srew you up big time and rest sometimes is the only alternative no matter how tuff someone is.That time off might have taken his best years but there was no alternative. We might be seeing the best Vitali ever right now despite his age,the next couple fights will give us more answers .

Are you 12 years old? Does it really have to be one extreme or the other with you haters? The reality is that only a hater would believe such an outlandish sparring story. People do get dropped, or hurt in sparring... of course. However, the rumors that circled after Vitali hurt his knee were absolutely ******ed and the only people dumb enough to believe them were the haters. People were going around saying that Vitali was KO'd twice in sparring. First of all... Had Vitali been KO'd once... he wouldn't have been sparring again. It isn't like they would have woke his ass up and had him continue training for the fight.... sparring hard and getting knocked out again.:-( Use some damn logic. Is this the way that you think Professional boxers are handled one week removed from a Championship title defense? Are you really that naive? The only reality of the situation was that Vitali Klitschko blew his knee out. He went to the doctor and got a brace to see if the brace could keep his knee stabilized enough to box on it. He went back the next day and tried to spar... his knee was giving out on him and simply wasn't stable enough to hold his weight as he tried to move and box. After trying it out for a couple of rounds with no success they stopped the sparring session and then called off the fight. Vitali wasn't being repeatedly dropped or knocked out by his sparring partners... only a moron would believe that story. He was trying out a brace on his blown out knee that required surgery immediately after the fight was called off.

If you honestly believe the story that Vitali was knocked down, or out by the account of the Co-Trainer for both Butler and Walker who was trying to hype them up for an upcoming bout that they were both on.....:-( The man actually said that Walker dropped Vitali with a left hook to the body, and Butler dropped him with a right hand. He really made that one believable. Get real man.:patsch

Later on when actually pressed on the issue they said... it was the last day of sparring, and "Let's just say that they called off the sparring after a couple rounds".:nut We already knew that they called the sparring off after a couple rounds on the last day of sparring... BECAUSE THAT WAS AFTER HIS INJURY THE DAY BEFORE AND VITALI'S KNEE BRACE COULD NOT STABILIZE HIS KNEE!!

Im thinking of throwing some money on Gomez.

About 50 bucks only tho, odds are to damn good.

I still think Vitali will win tho. Most of you guys seem to write Gomez off the map and give him no chance, which he does.

Also, Vitali isn't getting younger and he is very injury prone... so anything can happen, like a McCline - Valuev situation and boom, 300 bucks in my pocket..

After interviewing Walker, I had the impression that the stories were true...although, Travis was much too classy to take credit for such happenings outright.
