Looks like a fix to me.

Walters was never in any way good enough to beat Lomachenko but he didn't even try in the fight.
Seriously, that fight looks 100% a tank job.

    Same sh!t, different day.

Walters should get his licence removed after that pathetic performance the other night, the wanker owes me 15 pound for my boxnation monthly bill.

True. Something did look fishy about his performance. Can't take anything away from Loma though, either Walters was so discouraged he quit, he took a pay off, or just wanted to cash out. Maybe that's why negotiations took so long? Maybe they wanted him to take a dive and he wanted more money? Conspiracy theories galore.

It's probably a case of Walters and his trainers knowing he was never good enough to beat Lomachenko, so Lomachenko's team agree not to KO or hurt him unless Walters gets cheeky during the fight. These arrangements happen in boxing, that's how some difficult fights get made.
Lomachenko lightly schools him for 6 rounds and as soon as he ups the pace a little Walters is allowed to leave the contest.
Lomachenko gets the glory, Walters lives to fight another day. Everyone gets paid.
