You see? This is the blind ****ing zealotry that makes me verbally smack the **** out of people on here. Instead of reading what I'm saying and taking it in context, this cum-drinker jumps in half-cocked like he's an internet hero and starts calling me mental and not a REAL boxing fan. I can't have a less than wonderful opinion about Bute, I see. Ward can say whatever the **** he wants! He's his own man and makes his own decisions, just like you did when you decided to write this incoherent post. You thought the Super 6 was a joke, well that's your opinion. But hundreds of thousands of fans would disagree. It was good for boxing and was great for the sport. If you're mad Bute wasn't in it, then fine, but you're just acting like a *** right now who's butt hurt.
Oh, you're just a piece of **** who throws out insults. I've seen your posts before. Go back to my previous post genius and see where I list that I NEVER said Bute doesn't deserve to fight Ward. Maybe it just makes you mad that while you say "get the **** out of boxing forums!!", there's not a damn thing you can do about it other than ignore me. So go ahead, :hi:.
So Bute signs a two fight deal that will occupy most of 2012 and that makes Ward a ducker? Gotta love nuthugger logic.
I'm very happy we were able to talk like grown man. I understand your point and even ff we dont agree on everything at least we did talk in a respectful way.
First of all, let me say to you that I'm a little bit dissapointed. I'm starting to feel that the statistic side of boxing is preached too damn much here on ESB forum. I tell you, it doesn't really matter that much who fought who. What really matters is that we all see the bouts we want to see and that, my friends, goes beyond any affinities we might have for one boxer or the other. I think a boxing bout can never be judged by numbers. And I have plenty of fact to sustain this afirmation. Question for all: Have there ever been any rumors, any shreads of evidence, wich even slightly indicated at some point in time (let's say in the last 3 years) that Bute refused to fight an opponent? If there might have been, please come forward with them. Super 6 lasted two years or so, right? So, how could anyone expect Bute to fight the good boxers when those boxers were, in fact, involved in a separate tournament, one that was managed by a different network ( This content is protected ) that the one wich was promoting Lucian ( This content is protected ) at the time? The fact that Bute doesn't have a good enough résumé - and the truth, lads, is he doesn't - is not necessarily his fault. Hell, even now there are big names who refuse to fight him, namely A. Ward. I mean, let's face the truth for one second, Kessler could have gone for the IBF belt insted of the WBO one. Coming after an eye injury, he avoided Bute and took the easier route, the one via Robert Stieglitz. He simply chose the more facile way to become World Champion again. So, stop blaming boxers (Bute) for things wich are out of their control. This content is protected , Kessler came up with some shitty excuses and bailed out, This content is protected , but surprise, he doesn't want to hear about it. Note that I don't take sides, I just use my sense of logic and compare it with real facts. Sure, I don't like that a 31 years old undefeated 168lbs world champion hasn't had one single defining fight in his career so far, in fact, I resent it, but that's the way things stand in the present. When Lucian Bute can finally show the world what he's made of, the other guy just says no. Andre Ward has a 60-70% probability of pulling off a wide UD over Bute, but the truth is he really doesn't want to risk an improbable but possible defeat over the IBF champion. I can see the logic in Ward's decision, but I must have missed the part where is L. Bute's fault that big matches like this one don't happen. Bute did very good, considering he was left out of S6 because of reasons wich had nothing to do with the sport itself. The moment Glenn Johnson left the tournament, Bute fought and clearly beat him. The moment Ward was finished with the S6 thing, Bute approached him for a bout. I don't see anything wrong in Bute's attitude. He took the best available fights. I think, at this point, This content is protected . I don't know if there will be two matches, one on each other's backyard, or just one fight on neutral turf, USA. Why is it inevitable? Because Carl Froch can not afford to refuse a possible comeback fight.
Yeah plus Ward gets the much needed rest.. recharge the batteries watch the SMW Division take shape.. let Kessler get the WBO.. let Bute get his A opponent game up.. then make the moves listed above..
Ward ducking... hahaha He doesn't duck anyone... the only thing you could say he ducks is place.. Ward has disappointed in terms of willingness to fight abroad. His biggest fight so far was against the pre-tournament favorite Kessler. He and his team did all kinds of things to win that fight while Kessler underestimated Ward. If Ward can beat Kessler fair and square in Copenhagen - then I really see no-one beating Ward for the next decade (at least not at SMW or LHW). __________ Regarding Bute -the fans around the world that followed the Super Six will mostly not have a clue who Bute is. So for such a fight to be big, it would have to 'marinate'' as someone said. fighting Froch twice will surely improve Bute's marketability outside of Canada.
My thoughts are if Ward fights Bute now... and Wins.. then he has fought everyone else who has a title.. all thats left for him is Kessler again.. and who is to say that he will give him the rematch.. Kessler knew what happend the first time, has seen Ward in action vs other fighters.. and if he sees that he Beat him, Abrahamn, Froch, Bute then no unification with the WBO belt.. With Kessler denying the Rematch Wards only choice is to move up and Fight at 175.. he doesn't want to do that in 2012... he rather sit back let it marinate.. and get at bute after he take a Froch, Dirrell, Kessler... It sounds round about but very logical..
Fail Fall Back Sip on one of dem Marquez specials and Eat a Dick.. Wards fought in St. Lucia.. the Cayman Islands Foxwoods in Conn.. Tampa Fla Atlantic City NJ the **** you spit is so weak.. COme to Oakland and spit that Jokeland ****.. Imma leave it at that..
1. Nothing was signed, yet. 2. His main target was Ward who said he wants none of Bute (even tho Bute offered to fight him anywhere). 3. Now, when Stupid 6 final is over and Bute wants to fight the best...he's not worthy (after being accused of lowballing and ducking). 4. In your own little mind you actually made a scenario for yourself in which Bute offered 2 fights to Froch in order to duck Ward? Gotta love nuthugger / moronic logic...i agree. Oh, btw...Bute gets paid 2 mil / fight to fight bums while the best of the best, the Super 6 superstar finalists get a whooping 1.5 mil combined. You mad, son? :hey
Man, clam your mother****er fake boxing fan ass down. Why you're fake? Because u dont want the best SMW fight to happen. Why you're fake? Cause you're blashing Bute for his resume, but the guy just wants to get the best of the division. Why you're fake? Cause you're backing up the ideea the this fight should not happen yet. This fight needs to happen ASAP. Ward the the #1 of the SMW division & Bute is the #2 right behind him, wating to clean up the division and take on the big hard challenges. He wants it and deserves it ! No if's and but's...
For me Ward can fight bums in Oakland for the rest of his professional career, I don't watch any of his fights anyway. He's more boring than Hopkins and this says a lot..
I read all your posts. 1 post can't change who you are : a fake boxing fan. Have fun watching Ward fighting bums in Oakland, cause the others, DOESN'T DESERVE IT. THAT IS PURE BS. This is the fight all boxing fans want to see, except Ward's fans. Bute is not some up&comer prospect for Ward to say he needs to fight X and needs to fight Y. Bute come with the fight to his doorstep and he didn't want non of it, so that's a DUCK in my book.
