Boxrec is more accurate than wiki...it doesn't mention these men actually having those titles when they fought Tua. Titles get lost and won, you are not a Champion if you lose it or if you have yet to win it. That's common sense.

Wow, he beat Fres Oquendo! 2 time heavyweight title CHALLENGER!

 

That shame, cause he is the only name on there I recognize to be a good fighter.

Even 2 time title challenger Fres Quendo!?! Wow! Beating a physical prime 2 time title challenger is pretty impressive. Not same as beating a World Champion but it maybe the next best thing or not reallly..depends.

 

You know another Freaking Slugest! Brewster and this skinny white guy. They really slugged it out, I think it more remembered because it was for a world title, and Brewster ahd just beat the Wlad. That skinny whte guy was tough, he took the shots that knocked out Wlad, I think he could take this Tua and Ike RIP.

 

That fat Mexican dude with the mustache that hugged everybody? Poor Evander, he tried but was too old, sad day to see it. I cried when Evander beat that Mexcian because though he won the decision he really lost, we know it ti be true, he did not hae hte fire and the youth that helped him beat Tyson. The Mexican won the rematch and deserved it, poor Evander.

 

I have offended you sir, it was not my intention, just talking about Freaking Slugfests, I start to think of more memorable ones than this one you posted that I can't recall too well.

I do remember tha tfight, ti was a world title fight. I did cry to see Evander so old and losing to a Mexican he would have surely beat had he more youth. Poor Evander.

That Mexican was not very good and I'm glad to hear that Tua defeated him soon after this. Though why did Tua not win the belt? Was it Don King trickery?

Perhaps I was mistaken, yo useem to only have one joke that is not as funny when repeated.

Are yo ukno longer interested in discussing the boxing? Surely Tua has more great wins than the flabby Mexican that beat Old Holyfield.

 

I heard an awful rumor that Tua's father forced him to box! Is this true, it might explain his lakc of heart and inability to win a title.
