    Against low level opposition yes.
Who cares about his trick? His resume is hollow as hell.

Only need one dimension when you have a punch that can send your opponents to the shadow realm.

If I out-boxed you for 7 rounds will you die?
    -It would be extremely painful.
    You're a big guy.
    -For you!

Well you don't need to look good when you fight 50 year old men and tomato cans like Wilder faces. Also how many other "punchers" did Ortiz fight? Ortiz could have a glass chin for all we know. Ortiz hasn't really fought anybody. So Wilder beating proves nothing.

Ortiz goes to outpoint Wilder after outboxing him for 7 rounds.

Wilder: No, they expect to find one of us in the wreckage brother...

Ortiz: Have we started the fire?

Wilder: Yes, the fire rises... Calm down Al, now is not the time for fear. That comes later when AJ does a number on Ruiz.

I will give him full credit if he lays out any top 5 opponent like a sack of potatoes.

Its never too late for fighters to learn new things.

Do you honestly believe he can just keep blasting everybody out?

What happens if he fights a tricky fighter like Usyk and he cant land his detonator?

To not try and learn to have better technique would be completely ignorant on his part.

You know yourself you can't ice everybody.

There's going to come a time where he comes unstuck.

I agree with you mostly. He won't try to change until he loses, and then it will be too late.

He is who he is. He will live and die by the power in his right hand.

    1. Do I honestly believe he will continue to blast everyone out: No. Father Time is undefeated.
    2. If he can’t land his right he loses.
    3. To try to learn new technique at age 34 would ruin what has got him this far. What he does is muscle memory, if he starts messing with that this late in the game he will hesitate between what he’s done for years and new stuff. That ring has zero forgiveness for those who hesitate.
All I’m saying is what he does now works. When it doesn’t, when he takes his first loss, he can retire rich. Why change now at age 34, it would accelerate his career ending. Some boxers CAN learn new things. I don’t think Wilder is one of them. He does what he does and that’s it. One dimensional fighter sure....but god damn that right hand is a war crime.

    Wilder has gone backwards

That was one of his worst performances. Ortiz contributed to it. But he did nothing and was clueless

He only looked like winning when in the 7th Ortiz decided to go and hang his chin in the air. On the 5th time he hung his chin in the air, Wilder landed.
