I didn't see that coming...

 

.....Neither did Williams. He got caught going in with his hands down. I am absolutly shocked his corner would tell him to forget about the jabs, considering Martinez was head hunting from rd1. Bad advice and bad tactics by trying to brawl with Sergio. The jab is what would have saved him, by establishing some distance and making Martinez think twice about throwing those kind of punches.

Yes, what a brutal KO! I bet Williams got a concussion from that. His eyes were still open on the way down too.

Maravilla already had Williams "timed" from the first fight. Williams was very aggressive coming out in the first, but it took Sergio a round to settle in and land a very solid shot in between Williams' punches.

As they say, the ones you don't see hurt you the most. Williams has always had defensive holes in his game.
