That entire post is the very definition of dismissive and narrow-minded.

With such an attitude, there is no reason for you to be in these threads that all, and that is no slight on yourself. You really think it is all done and dusted.

I hate to generalize but the majority of Margo fans were not fans of boxing but rather fans of Margo and most of them have disappeared since that fateful night. The ones who are left sound like delusional fools making excuse after excuse while refusing to listen to hard evidence. I also question their boxing knowledge for buying into such a limited hype-job like Margo in the first place.

Problem is we will never really know the TRUE outcome of what they find..I dont understand why people dont get that its a conflict of interest to have the CSAC to investigate the situation when they have a vested interest in the outcome..If they come back and say that there was something really bad on the pad...Lets say there was a hardening agent on the pad, they would have to explain why that got by the inspector and why it was signed off on. If it comes back that nothing was on the pad then they have to explain why they revoked Margos rights to fight...Thier best course of action is to play dumb and continue to PRETEND that they dont know what was on the pad if anything..Truth is the pad itself was against the rules. But nothing that would have gotten Margo revoked.

We're being narrow-minded? We're acknowledging the facts, while you're simply trying to defend him. You've admitted, and I highlighted it in red, that you know it was illegal. You cleverly replaced illegal with some insufficiency but you're not fooling anyone. As to the subtlety of the problem, its IRRELEVANT. Margarito PAYS his trainer. He is responsible for that decision.

And back to narrow-minded, you and Freddy are focusing on one thing, protecting Margarito's image. I care nothing for Margarito's image, only for the sport of boxing. Their irresponsible actions have caused a black eye for the sport irregardless of their varying levels of guilt. Both individuals are responsible for knowing the rules, and Margarito has the additional responsibility of being the employer.

They are both accountable and will both be punished appropriately.

You dont listen to hard evidence you dumb ass when you listen that is called listening to an allegation, presenting hard evidence is a totally different issue. there has been no evidence provided at the hearing what so ever.

Continue to ****ing hate on the man I dont give a **** he isnt proven guilty, your just mad cus Margarito chased your woman beating closet ***gy boyfriend into retirement.

    You always generalize, though.

I am a fan of Antonio Margarito, and not only have I always expressed interest in matters that have not concerned him, but I am still here.

The "hard evidence" you refer to is wet gauze. People here have been talking of "blocks". We should at least get out facts straight before condemning a professional fighter who turned professional at the age of 15, and has been leaving it all in the ring ever since. Margarito has not had any history of cheating, and his overall attitude and the way he presents himself would lead me to believe there is a possibility that he is innocent, whereas his trainer is guilty.

:huh I dont think **** homie...You just cant handle my opinion on the cheat Margorito...Ok you're telling me to be objective and wait until everything is clear buy why dont you bring up the fact that his OWN damn trainer admitted to wrong doing..I like how you left out that point but you want to grill me because I called him a cheat..Dude, his own trainer even admitted it so why dont you call him( Margorito's trainer) narrow minded...You seem to nit-pick at ****..Come to me with bull****, I"m gonna correct you and put you on the spot!

And what does wet gauze become after it is pressured by a fist and glove?

    A block of gauze.

    Cmon man.

ESPN which has no interest in whatever happens in the whole thing is going the same route as HBO and the CSAC...And as I stated the way that they tried to hide the pad wrapped in gauze only shows that the KNEW what they were doing is/was not on the up and up. Only person or persons to blame are the ones in the Margo camp. That is were the problem is, you have people here tring to place the blame on everyone but Margo and his camp. Oh its the CSAC, or its HBO or Shane for using PED or Tito cuz he did the same thing..transfering blame doesnt excuse what was done, and it was done. As I stated the only thing in doubt is the degree.

I don't have a law degree but I'm pretty sure admission of guilt is evidence.

And Margarito didnt chase Floyd into retirement, he passed of his light work to a 37 year old almost unanimously perceived shot fighter. Prior to the bout that is. Funny how Mayorga gave Shane a rougher night isnt it?

I was referring to some infamous Margarito detractors. I never said you were narrow-minded. Correct me if I am wrong.
This is my overall point. The justice system has always been flawed, and too ban a professional athlete from the sport without any evidence is also flawed. You do know that there was little to zero evidence presented at the hearing, and that if anything, Margarito should have been found not guilty on a technicality? The problem we have here is that people are talking about "blocks" that never existed in the first place.

If you feel it is fair to brand a man a cheater irrespective of whether he even knew about it then that is your problem. I have not said Margarito is innocent of anything, I am emphasizing that what was found in Margarito's gloves has yet to be confirmed. Whereas you say I am focusing on one thing, protecting Margarito's image, I feel some other members are guilty of also focusing on one thing. Antonio Margarito being guilty of something he never did. Using illegal blocks?

They are both accountable and will both be punished appropriately.[/quote]

:patsch Come on man...What more evidence do they need? Trust me, they have all the evidence they needed when Javier admitted to the wrong doing! Why cant you just accept that and deal with it? So I guess Javier made all this **** up and gave the CSAS a false testimony and lied under oath?:verysad
