It does not matter how many World Title fights a fighter is involved in, they will always be very emotional before that bell rings. They will be nervous. I am sure Sugar Ray Leonard was not the only fighter through the years that got so nervous they had too go to the toilet. That was the biggest attendance in Staples Centre history. The fight was huge. If the Commission, who's job it is to inspect the wrapping, can miss any insufficiency, then Margarito sure as hell could also. It's that simple.

 

How does one compare Sugar Ray Leonard having diarrhea to Margo getting his hands wrapped?


And why dont you name all the other fighters who said they would notice something different with their wraps if something like this was to happen.

However, I offer a point of view that deviate's from the kneejerk reactions that ESB has been exposed too these past few weeks. There is a possibility that Margarito was oblivious to the hand-wrapping given the scale of the fight. Likewise, if the commission aren't even aware of it, then I don't see why we should expect any different from Antonio, who is nervous and pumped up for the event. Huge event.

I don't act like a Margarito nut-hugger. I stayed around after Mosley, expressed my disappointment, but I also gave full credit to an incredible performance by Shane. Let's have it right.
