Sounds just like Richardson said when he told HBO. Margos trainer definitely did a very poor job. The wrapping of the hand is part of his pay, he should be much more careful about procedure etc Margo also said he inspects how his hands are wrapped and has had his wraps done the same way for 11 years. I do see why they banned him cos ultimately Margo is the employer. Its debatable. There was wrong doing, that much is known.

Using old pads? Old pads in a professional fight, please.. I dont believe that for a second but Ill run with it for now.

Old pads that were reused before..hmm. Using the same pad over and over isn't going to eventually make them very compact, and no longer truly pad like but more of an offensive weapon?

And why would they be wet? Clearly they were, which is also illegal.

Despite having no test results to determine exactly how or if the knuckle pads confiscated by the California State Athletic Commission deputies prior to Antonio Margarito’s welterweight title fight with Shane Mosley last month were tampered with or not, Margarito and long-time trainer Javier Capetillo’s boxing licenses were revoked Tuesday after a five hour hearing before the state commission. The decisions were voted in separately by 7-0 unanimous votes. Citing that “the Justice Department does not view [testing the wraps] as a high priority as they are seriously backlogged with murder and assault cases,” and that the final test results would not be ready until “mid-March, California’s Supervising Deputy Attorney General Karen Chappelle initially asked that a lifetime ban be considered before being told that only a suspension of indeterminate time or a license revocation were the only allowed penalties.

you mean having wet gauze is illegal? okay then how do we prevent the sweat from wetting them:think in all honesty that is a stupid meaningless rule and you know it.

he's probably going crazy looking for links, when i already posted something from somebody that was actually there...

    eze,
basically, they dont have **** of proof, and they voted against him quick and with no real investigation cause in other words, the city has a lot more to worry about then gauze that might or might not have been tampered with :good
