While I agree with you here, for it protects the sport of boxing, I do not agree with statements from the Margarito camp regarding how this happened.

You don't grab the wrong pads twice. You can tell the difference between new gauze and old gauze. And anyone getting their hads wrapped can tell if the main roll is stopped, other gauze is inserted and then the rolling continues.

You do grab the used pads if you feel there is nothing illegal about them especially if they are just gauze there isnt a rule that says you have to use brand new gauze.
