Javier admitted to wrong doing so he's the one thats more credible than me and you...He was actually there so its kinda hard to dismiss that solid piece of evidence....As far as CSAS goes..their only doing their job...Making sure the fighers keep the fight clean...Meaning not breaking or bending any rules.

    i can agree...
then maybe, it wasn't even that serious to begin with but **** just got so blown out of proportion that it is what it is now, and maybe lawyers are asking them to not even speak about it....

you see, that's where this mess is becoming a bigger mess....i understand you, but you dont seem to wanna understand me....

isn't it only fair to think that capetillo was guily of something (as of right now, that's just being that he grabbed the wrong pad), but on the same token, it aint fair that the CSAC let so many damn people grab the evidence, not one or two, but over 15 people...even the csac apologized for their mistake....

That can be a possibility and you cant rule that out but all I'm saying is kinda unlikely for them to add whatever if the comissionor is right there with you...I guess we will have to wait to see what comes out.

At least I can admit that I did kinda jump the gun a lil bit! (just being real about it) I guess we'll have to wait until the middle of March to see what comes about the whole situation.

Antonio Margarito can be forgiven for missing the deficiency with the hand-wrapping if the CSAS were also guilty of missing it. There is the arguement that these people in question are not Boxing people, but it is their responsibility to enforce the rules. Margarito, on the other hand, is very nervous and amped for the biggest fight of his career. Is there a possibility that given this "illegal substance" is 1x4 like Freddy said, that Margarito could have been oblivious? Absolutely!

The reason I was a fan of Antonio Margarito in the first place had absolutely nothing to do with him being Mexican. I am British, ladies and gentleman. I have been out of the country perhaps 3 times in my young life. I am 19 years of age. I have no motif for being bias to any fighter from Mexico. That said, the reason I was a fan of Margarito was because of his attitude. He seemed like a stand up guy, always appeared so, and gave his all in every fight I had the pleasure of seeing him taking part in. I find it hard to believe this same man, who prides himself on his training, would knowingly cheat.

That is where I stand. Until conclusive evidence suggest otherwise, I will continue to believe that.

you know what bro, i dont blame people for jumping the gun right away...after lampley mentioned cotto's name after the fight, i was ****en pissed bro, pissed at the fact that i thought too margo was a cheating piece of ****....
but now after all this mess turned into more mess, i can see clearly now and as boxing men, we have to stand up for what's right, for the sake of boxing :good
i'm glad a lot of people are coming to a stop with the accusations and pointing fingers, when all we can really do is wait.....

    Sorry dude.

I am not categorically saying Antonio Margarito is innocent of all charges, but the entire situation has been tainted by the commission. They let over 15 people tamper with the evidence, the only eye-witness at the hearing has explained how it was not a fair trial, and given how the ****in' commission can miss the deficiency with the hand-wrapping, why would we expect more from Antonio Margarito. 1x4 is very small.

They must have had a terrible lawyer because all of those points should have resulted in some kind of technicality. Arum is right.

Fair enough!:good At least you didnt jump ships and run away..I can respect a guy that sticks beside his fighter. Props to you!:yep

Also you've to take into consideration that things wasnt looking so good for Margorito at one point and time...I'm not a hater by any means but I just want people to understand that I dont tolerate bull**** either...I was pissed that Margorito would even attempt to harm another man by loading his gloves (according to HBO)...You know there is always two sides to a story and I was just giving my opinion on how I approached the whole situation about the hand wrap situation.

Now you can finally understand my approach on the whole situation...Lampley mentioned it...I was kinda in disbelief but when the articles started coming out and Javier admitting to doing something illegal with Margorito and then for the CSAS to drop a one year supsension...Its kinda hard for you to believe Marogito or his story if you're not a die hard fan like you and selfkill are...its kinda easy to jump the guy given those circumstances but hey just glad when this bull**** is over.

gotta admit though...its was fun argueing with you guys...makes the work day go by a little quicker:lol:

Its all good Freddy and selfkill!:good

If it all comes out that Margarito knowingly cheated and wanted to cause harm to Shane Mosley - Freddy and myself will revoke anything we have said in this thread regarding Margarito's innocence. This isn't about any of us being right or wrong - it is about justice and the truth. That is all.

Exactly~ if its been proven beyond doubt that Margarito was attempting to use illegal substance in his gauze he will get the boot no doubt...
