The Plaster and Blocks comments have really pushed this in a negative direction for Marg and his trainer. It was illegal so they should be punished but not for life and Marg for an entire Year is a bit much IMO given what they found. Yes they were wet, yes the wraps were "Firm" but in no way, shape or form was it HARD like plaster or Hard as BLOCKS. Those are very telling facts that need to be addressed! There is no disputing that the way they wrapped was illegal but the severity of the allegations are far off from what reality is.

 

Andy Lee is a really nice guy and looks like a good fighter. I agree with everything Emmanuel said.

The problem we have Freddy is that people not just on ESB but even people like Lennox Lewis, and the fighters, don't know what it was that was found in Antonio's wraps. instead of simply coming out and saying that, they are instead saying "I would have known".

Exaclty and I agree to this, if the pad or inserts felt out of the norm your right about that, but obviously they didnt feel out of the norm to Margarito which is why he didnt know.

 

Emmanuel said exactly what I think. I don't think Margarito is the type of guy to cheat. He prides himself on his training and sacrifice, as he puts it, and that is where I stand until sufficient evidence proves otherwise. His trainer should take responsibility, but I just feel badly for Margarito.
