Did the fact that since Margo didnt have these "pads" in, allow Mosley to not be affected as much by the punches Margo did land to wear him down as much thus giving Mosley more energy to be able to knock Margo out... Unlikely but possible.

Im not saying that Mosley didnt have a great gameplan, which is most likely the reason he won, still I dont think you can completely ignore the fact that those "pads" could have made a difference in the fight if they had been used.
