Sam Peter is horrible. This fight was pathetic. The reason boxing is on the decline is cause of cards like this. The Diaz was amazing. But from what I have read the Ruiz was terrible also. These heavyweight's today are really boring and there skills are ****. Oleg looked like a ****ing 60 year old man. Ps That announcer should be shot.
1) I thought it was a **** stoppage, especially since there was only 3 seconds left in the round 2) I can't complain about the stoppage, because Oleg wasn't throwing anything back. If he just threw ONE PUNCH back at Peter, I think the ref would have let it go to the bell. 3) Oleg had Peter hurt in the 2nd, but made NO attempt to follow up on it. 4) Who gives a flip anyway? It's not like Oleg is the 'future' of the division. 5) Peter is a VERY limited fighter. Peter is what he is. He has ZERO UPSIDE. Samuel Peter will NEVER be better than he is right this very second. 6) If Wlad's chin wasn't so weak, and if Wlad wasn't afraid to throw punches, I think he would blow Peter out in less than a round. 7) Peter and Oleg were SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW. I'm starting to agree with the guy who said Kimbo Slice would clean up the heavies. This division is a mess.
I just hope david hey comes in and kills these out of shape pussies....and then if he could kill the slightly smaller in shape pussies too that would be swell.:good
Oleg's always looked like a 60 year old man. I think we need a return to in shape heavy weight fighters. All they'll need is a couple of in shape guys to come a long and force everyone to actually train for a fight.
I don't think either fighter was out of shape, they were just slow. Slow, lumbering, plodding, clubbing.....
Peter must come in lighter; his problem is speed and stamina, both of which could be fixed with losing weight. He wouldn't have to fight in spurts and he could put consistent pressure on opponents. And for Christ's sake Sam, bend your knees!
