Nah but in all seriousness id rather Calzaghe fight Wright than him going on to fight another Manfredo or Bika. Wright can fight. Something to point out about Winky. Everytime Winky has challenged for a title at a weight division Winky has either lost or Drawn the first time around (Vargas, Taylor, Hopkins,) the second time however has been very game (Frazier, Mosley) since his loss to Nard, i think he comes out very very game for Calzaghe also considering that hes already fought at a higher division hell probably know how to handle the weight issues for next time.

Yeah that's right, i'm making the point that this could be a very tough fight for Calzaghe, possibly harder than Hopkins and what he had with Kessler due to Wright fighting southpaw and his tight defence, Calzaghe seems to sometimes get frustrated and impatient against unorthodox guys, Wright will frustrate him no doubt.

Still, Calzaghe has already stated he'd move up to 175. What would everyone think, if he fought Winky at 168 instead of BHOP at 175? I wouldn't even bother trying to defend that choice. Woods, Dawson, BHOP, even Erdei are better choice opponents.

Yeah but before that fight he hadnt lost a fight in over 10years.

and if he beats the p4p no2 in JC then he has a good case for number 1 if Gayweather dont go well

We're talking P4P here. He lost his last fight in a weight class 15lbs above his best. The weight was visibly and obviously a problem for him there and he still made it a good, close fight. If he makes adjustments, stays 15lbs above his best weight and beats Calzaghe, who is much bigger and recognized by most as top4 P4P fighter in the world it is an amazing accomplishment and would clearly merit a top P4P spot :deal

But Calzaghe isn't number 2. What if Froch beat Calzaghe would that make him number 1?
